Serves meat, vegan options available. An Asian-inspired noodle bar located a few steps from the Bonnington Hotel. Menu contains a number of clearly marked vegan choices. The concept sees you picking your sauce, type of noodles, and the protein you want in the noodle dish, and chef then woks it all up for you. You can watch them do it and uses separate preparation and woking accessories for vegan dishes. Free Wi-Fi. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-11:00pm.

First time I have come here, even though office is just nearby.
Read moreCame in for an early lunch, so not busy. Ordered at counter after the very helpful person guided through the vegan options.
10 minutes later meal was delivered, sitting outside at one of their several large outdoor tables.
Thoroughly enjoyed the vegan ramen (with miso), and the not too sweet hibiscus tea. Also had the veg spring rolls which were ok but nothing special for me.
Will try the stir fry’s and rice options next, and for sure can see this being a regular stop
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Great Vegan Ramen, Friendly, fast
Cons: A little bit pricey but not crazy

Went here just this weekend and the waiting time was a bit long. The vegan ramen was amazing and the vegan options were well marked on the menu. The portion was also good and very filling.

Cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Waiting times on a Friday night was quite long however, the vegan ramen was worth it. Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu!

We stumbled upon this place, while trying to find another vegan restaurant. We walked by and the hosts were waving too us!
Read moreFound the other vegan spot and were not impressed, so we walked back to Wokyo and had our meal.
They have many sauce, noodle and protein options. The two that are vegan obviously are the tofu or the vege. We had the Osaka and the Singapore both with rice noodles.
Food was delicious, and atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back.

Love it! - Edit
I love Wokyo! It's an uncomplicated place for lunch and the guys are super friendly. Just pop in & order at the counter. Everything's clearly labelled and it's easy to order a vegan noodle bowl. You can customize everything (which noodles, which ingredients, etc.) and you can watch them cook it, so you always know what you're getting.
Read moreIt's not expensive, you never wait longer than 5-6 minutes for your meal, and there's a foosball table, too, to keep you entertained :-)
They have an inside and an outside. Wokyo can also relatively easily be reached by metro & tram. Just go to Jumeirah Lakes Towers station and use the JLT exit, then walk straight past Carrefour and along the lake (with the lake on your right).
The restaurant also sells a few Japanese food items & ingredients for those who like to cook at home. Oh, and there's free Internet, too.
Pros: Great value for money, Fresh, Highly customizable
