Serves meat, vegan options available. Nepali food menu with a separate vegan section listing 20+ dishes. Open Mon-Fri 15:00-23:30, Sat 11:30-23:30, Sun 11:30-23:00.
Well kept restaurant with really friendly and helpful staff. Vegan section on the main menu had numerous options for starters, mains and sides, and allergens highlighted throughout the main menu, although drinks menu was unclear for vegan options.
Zwar sehr elegant und das essen nicht schlecht aber der service war leider nicht gut und die bedienung kannte sich mit dem veganen angebot nicht aus, so dass wir schwierigkeiten bei der wahl hatten...wir werden nicht wieder kommen
Update 31/1/18: I've now been to the actual restaurant which is a nice modern space. Food was great as always, service a touch weird as the server was just very quiet.
We have had takeaway from the Yak and Yeti several times (they deliver further if you phone the restaurant than if you try and order on Hungryhouse). They have a whole vegan section of the menu with over 20 dishes and so far we've tried about 10 and haven't been disappointed with any. All the dishes are very reasonably priced at around £6.95 for a curry dish and the vegan special fried rice and mushroom rices are excellent. With a vegan section to make it so easy, we don't bother trying to get curry anywhere else!
Only thing to note is that when we order they often send a couple of free poppadoms and I think the generic green dip they send with it is (non-vegan) yogurty.
This place is a fantastic choice for vegans with omni friends/family. The menu is clearly labelled with vegetarian, vegan, and gf, and has a section at the end just for vegan stuff.
It's fairly priced, the portions are huge, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. There are more specialised Nepalese dishes, and the typical North Indian ones you often find elsewhere, but made with fresh ingredients and not very oily.
Personal highlights were the daal, thimi, coconut rice, and saag aloo.
