Great food, but get there befoee 7pm - Edit
Food was good, not to spicy but chillies on the sode if desired. Just make sure you get there before 7pm, they pack up all the food then- looks like they were packaging it to give away.

Best value vegan buffet I have been to - Edit
This is the best value vegan buffet I have been to in the world, a buffet with multiple soups, Chinese vegetable dishes and vegan meats. Very tasty for just 15 Yuan! A must go when in Ghuangzhou. Close to Ghuangzhou train station. Via apple maps you can find it by going to Guangxiao Temple and then just on the right of it coming from the metro. Great place!

A little bouddhist buffet with classic Chinese food, very tasty and affordable (15 yuans). The canteen is near the 6 bayans treas temple (Leu Rung temple).

Super friendly and cheap! - Edit
The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English. Everything is vegan. They donate extra food to the homeless. It’s an all you can eat buffet that seems to follow the dietary codes of Shojin Ryori. Highly recommend! Check the photos to see what it looks like. It’s just outside the temple - turn to the left and walk a few meters.

Simple but cheap - Edit
The food is simple but good and very cheap with only 10 yuan for the buffet. The buffet consist of about 8 different vegetables and rice and 2 soups. No English spoken but that’s not necessary as you can chose from the buffet.

Small crowded hole in the wall - Edit
Really small and popular with the locals as its next to the Temple. Which is a good thing!
Read moreWhen I got there a little after 2pm (on a festival day) the food was mostly gone.
I was a little concerned about the hygiene as its an open buffet on the main street next to the temple entrance, but I didnt fall sick. They spoke 0 english so managed with sign language.
I'll go back again.
Pros: Popular/ Friendly, Donation based, Lots of options
Cons: Small, limited seating, Hygiene. Open buffet next to the street

Pleasant place - Edit
Pleasant Buffet next to the Buddhist temple, with pleasant incense. It is possible to put in a plate several dishes and to pay only ¥10. It is very affordable for China. The food was very fresh, mostly it was stewed vegetables (zucchini, zucchini, lotus root, Tomato), loved the Bulgarian pepper with tofu and rice with vegetables. Many people approached the additive several times. These buffet's dishes even better than in the good pricy restaurant.

The best sweet and sour I have ever had. ¥15 per person for the buffet with additional seating upstairs. Highly recommend it to try a nice selection of food, went back twice and the food was different both times.

Nice little buffet style vegetarian restaurant. In a country which doesn't understand vegetarianism this place is a good exception. Food was nice and place looked clean.
