Their mock meats and tofu are spot on, the spice is right (be prepared for authentic Thai spice), the portions are generous, and on top of all the rest, they are genuine, authentic, and lovely people.

I really liked the laksa and red curry. Their curries are all homemade and you can taste the difference. I love that they switched it to a fully vegan menu. The Pad Thai was better than average as I find it’s either a hit or miss (usually miss) at most places. I wish I had room for dessert! Their portion sizes are decent/big and match their price.

I came here twice once with a friend before a gig and again with my husband for the lunch special the next day! Everything is fresh and delicious 🤤 I love how they ask what level of spice you want! Nice to have another vegan restaurant in the city! I’ll be bank to try the deserts!

When going to a Non vegan Thai restaurant and ask for a vegan version of a dish, often I get a bland tasting dish, because they just take things out(oyster/fish sauce, etc) but not replacing by a vegan alternative.

I’d heard a lot of chatter about Yod since its move to a fully vegan menu, so I stopped in for lunch on my day off and it genuinely lived up to the hype. I ordered the green curry, which was full of depth and fragrance, with a great mix of plant proteins and vegetables like Thai eggplant and Asian mushrooms. The flavours were bold, fresh and well-balanced, and you can tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing. It’s exciting to see a Thai restaurant in Thai Town go all-in on plant-based without losing any of the heart or flavour. I’m already looking forward to going back to try more!

Really friendly staff, delicious Lassa, very fast service. Really cheap lunchtime deals - only $15. Central location. Have only been operating a week. Unfortunately, I had an appointment, so I had to wolf it, but it would be great to come back with friends.

Today I visited New Thai Vegan Cuisine in Thai Town, and the food was absolutely delicious! The taste was so good that I had to double-check with the waitress to make sure it was 100% vegan. She confirmed that the kitchen is fully vegan. This place is a hidden gem—anyone who eats vegan definitely needs to give it a try!
