Loved getting to try some of the classics - Edit
Went here twice during our stay. Our favorite dish hands down was the majado. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the pastels but might just be personal preference

Rice & pigeon peas got better. (It used to be a bit undercooked) - Edit
The arroz con 🇵🇷gandules needs to be cooked more, as it is a little bit undercooked, but in flavor, is good.

impossible meat is unhealthy - Edit
the flavors are delicious hence the rating. However impossible meat (which is in almost every dish) is not a healthy food item. i recommend abbots chorizo or ground beef.

Our restaurant has a specific purpose. We Fool Carnivores. We believe Impossible is healthier than what carnivores eat. It is delicious and has been recently certified as safe in Europe which is pretty difficult as you know. Are menu is specifically designed for carnivores. Thanks for your comment we are very glad you loved our food. ❤️

But the reason to eat here isnt because we are wanting to eat healthy food. Vegans eat unhealthy vegan junk food sometimes because of sensory pleasure and most importantly, we are not exploiting sentient animals. You should go watch Dominion on YouTube. Cause it seems you are only eating a Plant-Based diet to be or feel healthier, but that isnt what being Vegan is about. Vegan is FOR THE ANIMALS (not health or environment) = The first-hand victims.

I understand perfectly and appreciate your thoughts. Just explaining our concept. We are a vegan restaurant with a menu designed for carnivores. Comfort food! Just healthier. I appreciate taking the time to write!

Large Menu - Lacked Seasoning - Edit
The menu has no explanation of local dishes. So study menu prior if not sure.
Read moreFood was fine, but lacked seasoning! We had to ask for hot sauce to get some flavor. There is plenty of variety represented.
Pros: Large menu, It's all vegan :)
Cons: No seasoning!, No explanation of local cuisine

If it lacked seasoning something happened! Because that’s our thing. I apologize. Please come back for a credit.

Caribbean vegan - Edit
Great location on artsy Calle Cerra with a good selection of vegan Puerto Rican options. Take-away or eat in, inside or outside, possible. It’s right next to Matcha Muchacha where they serve matcha drinks with plant-based options.

A great place to try veganized Puerto Rican food - Edit
A cool artistic space to enjoy some veganized Puerto Rican foods and burgers. Other than the rice and beans plate, the rest of the food is fried/fast food style. The food was really flavored well, especially the mock meat items.

Great food - Edit
Great food. Enjoyed the potato ball, steak and mushroom empanada, and pastel appetizers. La Mixta entree was great. Service a little slow; wasn’t a problem since we were not in a rush. Very affordable prices.

Authentic PR Classics - Edit
Flying into Puerto Rico I wanted to eat three things I knew I could usually find near the beaches…alcapurrias, sorullitos, and pasteles! Downside is, none of them would be vegan. I’m so grateful to have found 100% HP and their wonderful take on Puerto Rican classics. The flavor truly made me feel like I wasn’t missing out on a single thing while on this trip. Additionally, my non-vegan bf claimed it was the best vegan food he has tried at a restaurant and I agree. This place is a must try for all people!

Love that this place has authentic Puerto Rican food made vegan. The menu is digital and not very easy to navigate especially as an English speaker. This place has really cool vibes and lots of options!

Nice local flavor - Edit
Dig the open space with intriguing artwork. Kinda 80's Mtv style. Pleased that a fully vegan restaurant was open past 4 pm in Puerto Rico. Seems like a lot of them close after lunch. Sponsored by Daiya. Extensive food and drink options, including Puerto Rican dishes. We tried the Impossible empanadillas and pastels, which were very enjoyable.

Really dope - Edit
Huge place, nice decorations and very spacious. We went here around 7pm trying to make it before the kitchen closed. Service was a bit slow, but it was sure worth it. Prices are pretty good with great portions.
Read moreThey use impossible products in a lot of their dishes, so if that’s not your thing, look for the soy options. Ordered the La Mixta HP y Carrucho HP. Just amazing flavor and tasted like the corner spot growing up. Really happy to have made it here!

Great spot - Edit
Extensive vegan menu of rich, fried Puerto Rican comfort food. But if you’re looking for something healthy, your options are limited. I had a side salad with avocado which was fine. Great space and friendly servers.

Authentic, vegan Puerto Rican food! - Edit
This place definitely on the come up, and as a Puerto Rican vegetarian of 6 years this is very refreshing to see more options that aren’t just salad or pizza. The restaurant is really cute with all the art! I went twice during my time in San Juan, and ordered a lot of different stuff. The highlight was definitely the birria tacos which were so amazing and the vegan alcapurria. I honestly didn’t love the vegan pastel as I found it to be lacking in flavor, as well as the empanada which didn’t have much inside it besides beyond meat. I think adding olives, maybe some vegan cheese, or making more of a picadillo would bring it up a bit though it didn’t taste bad just sort of plain! The other thing I suggest is that for those dining in, it would be nicer to receive the food on an actual plate rather than in take out containers with plastic silverware. As we try to be more environmentally conscious we shouldn’t be using so much plastic and it’s definitely a bit more elevated to use actual plates! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the food as they update and grow!

Comfort food all the way! - Edit
Wow the decor is so nice! The cow mural with the designed sofa under is super pretty. There are other cool painting everywhere as well. The place is super big, there is a lot of seating area. I had the philly cheesesteak sandwich which was very good, but huge. My daughter had the chicken strips jr on the kids menu which were very good and tender. I would probably just take one sandwich or other plate and share with my daughter if I would back, because the portions were very big.

Authentic Puerto Rican Food (but vegan) - Edit
I wish this place was closer to my hotel because I would eat here every day. The food is delicious and the space is beautiful; filled with original art. I brought some food back to my nonvegan partner and he agreed that it was not only delicious, but better than some that he had had with meat. Highly recommend!
