Picked the wrong time? - Edit
This is a branch of a small chain that serves coffee from Puerto Rico, with some rum-infused or whiskey-infused coffee beans. This branch is small and cozy, on a side street, with some indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is counter-serve and comes in paper cups.
Read moreThis branch has been here for quite a while. I never noticed any vegan items here or at the other branches of 787, but today when I saw the Happy Cow listing, I thought I'd try to see if they'd have something this time. Alas, yet again they had no vegan pastries or savory items when I came at afternoon coffee break time (3pm). This is why my accompanying photos show no vegan items--because there weren't any.
The person at the counter noted that they offer oat milk (for a surcharge). Coffee places that I rate higher on HappyCow usually offer more types of plant milk and always have some vegan pastries on hand. I realize that I might have caught them at the wrong time--but the upshot is a poor HappyCow rating. To emphasize: I am not criticizing their coffee. But since this is not a coffee website, I must rate this and other coffee places according to their vegan offerings, and in this regard, this venue comes up short.

A tranquil cafe with unique and delicious drinks - Edit
Most of their numerous specialized drinks are naturally vegan or can be made so with the substitution of dairy-free milk. They also offer vegan cookies and prepackaged vegan & gluten-free foods.
