Non-corporate, cozy store - Edit
In a world filled with Amazon-Starbucks-WholeFoods-type stores, it is nice to see that a small shop like this still exists in NYC. The Upper East Side used to be filled with stores like this, but no more. In any event, I am glad to see a small, friendly shop like this in the area. The wares here are not strictly vegan, but they do have a bunch of vegan items, and everything is eco-friendly.

Zero-Waste, Organic & Plastic Free shop - Edit
This small business has a large variety of merchandise for its small space. They have a large range from legumes, household products, self care, hygiene and a French corner of imported food. It’s uniqueness comes from its zero waste concept of reusing where customers can bring their own containers to reuse and it’s weight will be removed from the final price. There are also some purchasable containers and recently donations of containers are being accepted which customers can use for free.
