Excellent gourmet community all vegan restaurant with dog friendly patio dining - Edit
Knowledgeable and professional furloughed repurposed in life wait staff serve a higher purpose for your dining experience which is higher than Eugene area average while paying it forward to Eugene’s unsheltered community through their community pantry and free meal plate.

Not to be missed! - Edit
This whole place is neat. They have a great set up to help people in need with a pantry of food and hygeine products in the bathroom. Seasonal Vegetable Bowl which was so good and had leeks, fancy mushrooms, pickled onion, carrot, Brussels and more. The Breakfast Hash had plenty of sauerkraut and mustard. The blueberry muffin was fresh and delicious. The outdoor seating is shaded but they have heaters.

Such good vibes - Edit
This place not only has really healthy and tasty home cooked food but the people that work there are amazing. I could tell that there was so much love in the food and so much passion for the work they are doing in the community. It's so cool to walk in the bathroom and have free menstrual products and diapers for people to take. Revolutionary! Absolutely recommend.

Very cool setting in a tiny alley way across the street from laughing planet cafe except everything here is vegan, and delicious and you can tell by my photos how much attention they put into things

Incredible. The chef is an artist. Food is perfection. - Edit
We were awe struck by how good the food was. The potato leek soup was honestly the best soup I’ve ever had. I’m not usually a fan of pancakes but loved the buckwheat pancakes here. We also got a squash pasta gratin that was unusual and excellent, which came with a surprisingly delicate, simple and delicious side salad.
Read moreHonestly, the chef here is an artist (yes, meals cooked by a CHEF!). Each dish was like fine dining quality but averaging $10 an entree. Acorn Community Cafe is a destination. I’m coming back here every time I’m in town.
Pros: Exquisitely crafted dishes, The potato leek soup is PERFECT, Friendly, non-profit

Amazing all vegan restaurant - Edit
Such a lovely place with lovely people who work there. The menu is all vegan, I never have to worry about asking if anything is dairy free; I can have everything on the menu, such a breath of fresh air for me. All of the food that I've had here is amazing. They have a free food pantry, a blue plate special (pay what you can), free sanitary items, and free prophylactics if you're in need. I love coming to eat at this place, they have a nice outdoor dining area too.

Great food made by folks with big hearts - Edit
I discovered this wonderful not-for-profit cafe during a visit to Eugene. The treats I had — lemon blueberry muffin and salted chocolate chip cookie — looked and tasted like something from a fancy bakery. They were fresh baked and so good! I look forward to trying more of their menu items while supporting equitable access to delicious and nutritious food.
