Grainy Soft Serve & Overly Salty Sauces - Edit
I think my expectations were too high. This is just fast food and not that great. I had the Apple Pie Avalanche shake and all the components were awful. First the soft serve was oddly grainy. The streusel topping was like eating sweet sand. Then was the apple goo which was too sweet. All combined was disaster. I had the specials: sac town spuds and the sac town steak sandwich. They were the same except one was in a bun and one over fries. Both were overly salty.

Absolutely AMAZING - Edit
My favorite place ever. Take all your hamburger-loving omnivore friends, they will love it!! Very comparable to in-n-out only VEGAN!!! (And fresher and yummier!) my go-to order is the Ranch burger, a shovel of spuds with a side of ranch, and a chocolate vanilla shake! YUM!!!

Delicious and kind - Edit
Delicious burger. The kindest staff custom made me the salad I wanted when I just asked if it existed. A whole bunch of staff greeted me right when I walked in too haha. Such a cute place!

The Burger Patch is ANOTHER great addition to the SACRAMENTO area vegan scene. - Edit
Our party of three ( one vegan, two non-vegans) loved the food!! The fries are to die for. The burgers and shakes we delicious too. Reminiscent of the classic fast food style. With 0 guilt as the entire scrumptious menu is vegan!! We went after a soccer game. My 17 year old non-vegan soccer player left completely satisfied!!

A good option! - Edit
Although amazing to have a vegan burger shop in Sactown... I must say it’s getting tiring to have so many Vegan shops using Beyond Burger. I pray we are going to see some new players focused on building good vegan patties not necessarily ones that pretend to bleed and smoke like cow meat.

Good shakes but only have beyond burgers - Edit
I wish Burger Patch would incorporate a whole food plant based burger instead of the isolated protein/added oil Beyond burger. Chocolate and vanilla shakes are yummy

Decent experience - Edit
They are always busy and that's great. The service can be great or very awkward. The shakes are.... odd. Not creamy.. I love the food, but hate hate HATE the Beyond Burger. It is so gross to me.. BUT, overall. If I was craving vegan loaded fries and was too lazy to make my own, I would go here.

Delicious but pricey - Edit
Burgerpatch is the new vegan spot in Midtown. It can be very crowded at times but I think its delicious. One of the things that Ive missed since Ive become a vegan was animal fries from In-n-out. Burgerpatch has me covered. On their secret menu, there are several different creative styles of fries like chicken parmesan. The burgers are good too and the cheese is amazing. They have chicken sandwiches and I believe bacon burgers sandwiches on the secret menu. There's a triple patch too. You can order ahead online now which will save you a lot of wait time. The food can take a while to come out at times. They stay open late till about 1am. I've had them after nights out a few times. It hits the spot.
Read moreMy issues with Burgerpatch are the bags aren't strong. They rip easily as you walk off with your food. You can now have it delivered through uber eats but the delivery radius is smaller than other midtown restaurants ( dont know if that's the restaurant or Uber). The Most important issue are the prices. Me and my partner once ordered two double patch burgers and two ( animal) patch fries. It cost $43 for 4 items. In comparison, we ordered $43 worth of vegan food from Anna's vegan cafe on Stockton and took a comparison photo. It was enough for 5 people. They'd do better to bring their prices down.
Pros: Delicious, can order online, be delivered,, Menu full of great options, open late, , Nice staff. Creative menu
Cons: Too expensive, too slow for fast food, , Delivery radius small, could use better bags

MoRe beyond burger bs... - Edit
Am I the only person who doesn’t like beyond burger?😡kinda pricey for something I wouldn’t consider delicious... for 5 more dollars you can go to beast and bounty and get one of the best vegan burgers on the planet! They do have vegan milkshakes but when I went it was broken. :/

Incredible Burger Spot - Edit
I tried the patch burger, fries, and the chocolate shake. Oh my, everything was awesome! I don't usually bother with vegan cheese, but whatever they're using really works with the other ingredients. This is a great spot for any burger lover.

Heaven in Sacramento - Edit
Absolutely in love with this place! So stoked to have a great quick service vegan burger place. The Patch Burger is perfect in every way with Follow Your Heart Cheese and a Beyond Meat patty. Their sauces are amazing and the Patch Style Shovel of Spuds with a 50/50 milkshake are the best treat.

Finally our own burger joint!!! - Edit
We finally have our very own ALL VEGAN burger joint, and the food is outstanding! They use Beyond Meat burgers and Gardein chik'n, which are both really good. The fries are better than In'NOut, which I thought were perfect! And the Mylk shakes are to...die...for!!! Get the black and white, which is half chocolate and half vanilla. Now, I have to say I am not a fan of the fried chocolate chip cookies, but still they aren't bad, and many love them. Plus if you break them up and put them in a mylk shake, you can't smell or taste the oil, which is the turnoff for me. We've waited a long time for a place like this, and I'm really happy they chose Sacramento. 💘

Good burgers and fast service! - Edit
We are not in the habit of eating at burger joints, but this one will be the exception. The burgers were delicious. I heard the chicken was delicious. The cheese did not win over the cheese-loving member of our party, but I loved it! It was very nice to be able to have cheese with my burger! We did not try the fries or shakes, but plan to on future visits. I had plenty of food, but the chicken option without fries was not enough food for the hungry man in our party, so order two or add fries and a shake. Service was relatively quick (we have been waiting for the lines to go down) and I met some really wonderful people while waiting for the order.

The best burgers! - Edit
I was very pleased with this burger place! The staff was friendly and it is super cute inside. I love the eco friendly environment! But the burgers! Soooo good! The melting cheese and the way they are cooked! I will be going back often! Even the containers and the straws are great for the environment! They have my vote all the way!

Good, pricey, VERY limited seating - Edit
I got "The Ranch" and some fries. The food was good, but nothing special. It is nice to have a vegan fast food joint close to work though! The customer service is excellent and FAST. Plan on getting your food to go. There is one long table with stools on the inside and a couple tables outside - that's it. Street parking is free, but if you go during a lunch rush good luck finding parking. Also, the menu is SMALL, not too many options, which is probably why they're fast.

Vegan version of in and out - Edit
I tried BP at 12am Saturday night (their opening day technically) and it was really good. Got the bbq burger, fries, and 50/50 shake. I loved the bacon used on the burger. Fries were decent but it was their opening (crazy busy) I know it’ll get better. Going back soon for the same meal but with the chocolate shake this time! PS I did go back and try and the fries were better (really really good) and seasoned really well. All in all a great meal.
