Petite Latin American cafe

As the title suggests the cafe is very petite with one table inside and one table outside. My visit was some time ago however I’ve since passed by and seen they’ve added some tables. I got a hot chocolate with oat milk (for an extra fee), which was good. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to try the vegan and gluten-free empanada (due to my schedule but it was available) but that will be something i consider next time.

Non-corporate cafe

I was hungry and had no food in my house, so while going to the health food store I thought that I would stop by this cafe, which I saw was just posted on HappyCow. This is a tiny cafe: one small table indoors, and a few outside. They offer only one vegan item to eat, a bean empanada (which was fine), plus they offer plant milks (for an extra fee) for their coffee and tea. In all, this is not a place I'd go out of my way for. ON the other hand, if the weather is nice, you're in the neighborhood anyway, and looking for a place to meet someone for coffee and an empanada, this cafe is fine.

Pros: non-corporate, charming, tiny cafe for outdoors eating, they offer a vegan empanada

Cons: Limited vegan options, vegan tax for plant milk, no available restroom, , too small for comfortablindoor eating

Great find!!

I wanted to grab a coffee this am and I found Cositas was the closest coffee shop to my dads apartment, so I went over and hoped they’d have some plant milk for me. I was THRILLED and surprised when I found they not only had plant milk, they also had an amazing vegan empanada for me and absolutely delicious coffee! I’m super picky about my oat milk and I had an oat milk latte that was divine! My brother and I each got a coffee and empanada, walked around the corner to go back to the apartment, and turned right back around to get more coffee and empanadas! An amazing find with great food & coffee, an adorable set up, and super kind staff!
