This restaurant is exactly what you pray it is - amazing French vegan food. Honestly, it was so hard to pick what to get. The waiter suggested Escargot and Coq Au Vin. Of course, he said he could only one favorite. It has been so long since I had proper French food. I could have cried. Come here!! 🥹❤️

Had an absolutely incredible meal here, wow - Edit
Came here for brunch, wish we could have sampled more of this menu. I can’t believe how delicious everything was. The poached egg dish blew us away—I don’t know how they made that egg but it was magical, it tasted just like an egg and the yoke ran and it was just perfect 🥲 the crepes we had were freaking delicious also. The place is so charming, we felt like we were in Europe, and if this place was closer to us we’d come back over and over. Honestly one of the best meals I think we ever had. It was that good. We are gonna have to make sure to come back the next time we are in NYC for dinner and try some of the entrees!! Also service was lovely. What a gem of a spot!

Yum! - Edit
I am also gluten free and had the vegan cheese plate, Brussels sprouts, and chocolate mousse. I was so excited to find a dessert I could eat, because I can’t eat sugar! The vegan cheese was amazing!! The taste and texture were just like their dairy counterparts! The mousse had a wonderful hint of orange. I found a new favorite go-to for every time I’m in NYC!

Good but not worth $$ - Edit
My teen daughter and I dined early on a Monday night. The waiter was polite and attentive. We had the Vegan escargot, which was very good. I had the beif bourginon, which was very good but a bit too salty. Of there was bread on the side that would have helped balance it out. My daughter had the steak frite, which she enjoyed. We shared the creme brulee. The caramelized sugar on top was not crunchy and the orange flavor was a bit too strong.
Read moreMy main issues did not have to do with the food, though. My daughter arrived before me. There were only 2 other tables occupied, but they sat us at the table closest to the bathroom. Maybe they were just trying to spread us farther from the other diners. But it didn't feel cool, especially since we were the only patrons who were people of color. Also, for the price of the restaurant, I was disappointed in the lack of tablecloths, the use of paper rather than cloth napkins. Also, we had leftovers that we wanted to bring home and I was surprised that we had to box our own food. Not what I generally experience at a high end restaurant.
I'm glad I went back doubt I'll be back.

Ratatouille and French onion soup - Edit
Empty for lunch on July 4th. Burn your mouth vegan Gruyère cheese tastes great. All vegan of course. The ratatouille is a big spicy. And both dishes are salty

Good - Edit
Delice et sarrasin had incredible service, which really made the experience amazing! We really enjoyed everything we ate: the ratatouille was probably the crowd favorite, it had a really great smoky flavor that was super delicious! We also enjoyed the crab cake and the escargot. To anyone going, I would rec the escargot and the ratatouille for sure! We finished the dinner with the orange creme brûlée, which had an amazing citrusy flavor but a slightly odd gelatinous texture. Overall great experience and great food! I will be returning soon to try their other offerings!

French vegan cuisine - Edit
The food was interesting. I really liked the steak. The texture was very "meaty." I liked the flavour as well. Cheese pancace was not too bad as well. I did have better vegan cheeses before, not too big of a fan that pancace itself was sweet a bit.

Deliciously Vegan & Authentic French Cuisine - Edit
This hole in the wall restaurant serves deliciously authentic vegan French food. They have a decently sized menu with a large variety of foods including sweet and savoury crepes (as pictured), faux meats and much more. The food will leave you satisfied and definitely ready to take some home. They also have gluten-free options, their sweet crepes are naturally gluten-free and the savoury crepes can be made gluten-free upon request. The menu clearly dictates a number of allergens to help customers choose the best dish suited for their needs. This restaurant is incredibly expensive so keep this in mind when visiting. I would love to go once more to try more of their menu but I would keep in mind the cost.

Good food but might be a tad overrated? Everyone should decide themselves. - Edit
Food was tasty but really not the best I’ve ever had. Seemed like a bit mass produced vs really from scratch. The steak appeared to be juicy marbles which I have at home. The way they prepared it though was excellent.

Good food and relaxing atmosphere - Edit
We arrived over an hour early for our reservation. Luckily, they were able to seat us. It is a small place but it is tasteful. The music was very relaxing. I had the Coq Au Vin which was a heavy on the mushrooms. The soy chicken wings were very good in the thick sauce. It was slightly salty for my taste. I wish I had gotten more of the carrots and potatoes. It was definitely good. My husband had the steak and frites. He enjoyed it. There was one server and I didn't ask for ketchup for the frites when he put the food down. My husband was in the bathroom when the food came. He ate it without the ketchup. We ordered a crepe for dessert with strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate. It was delicious. My husband had a coffee with almond milk. He really enjoyed it.

Wonderful French food in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere - Edit
This was really wonderful French food made available for vegans. We were so happy and wish we could have tried everything on the menu. Standing out for us was the cheese plate: Blue Cheese, Camembert, Gruyere, and a Truffle cheese. We could not believe this was vegan cheese! Also outstanding was the savory crepe, Mr Rabelais.

Disappointed. - Edit
Mediocre food, we ordered the poulet basquaise and tagliatelle (fruit de mer). We were hoping for more whole foods, but the meat substitutes felt like pieces ordered frozen from any Asian market. The "seafood" was rubbery and flavorless, the tagliatelle was lukewarm and clearly boxed pasta. The sauce left a lot to be desired. The "chicken" dish had too much sauce and the vegetables felt overcooked. The food had clearly been cooked in advance, which was disappointing given how this place markets itself as more authentic French cuisine. We were looking forward to this place and ended up looking for other food in the area as soon as we left.
Read morePros: Fully vegan. , Intimate dining area. , Some creative vegan options, such as the cheese.
Cons: Lukewarm food that was obviously cooked in advance, Meat substitutes. , Food quality.
