I have been to Forest many times and have always had a fantastic experience. It’s such a cool spot and the food tastes amazing! They combine very unique flavors and offer something no one else does in the city for vegetarians/vegans. 10/10 recommend

Loved it here! All dishes well thought trough and cooked straight to the end - had e.g. a sweet potato with peas and a marmite cream perfectly incorporated by a bell pepper and rosemary oil. All homemade, just awesome - so the crew was as well!

Wines as well are very good, try the orange wine - loved it!

The menu is an amazing, creative combination of seasonal produce. Most of the food was vegan or could be adapted to be vegan. Cherry ice cream with olive oil drizzle, who thought that up? Give them a pay rise because it was delicious.

Such a special place. The produce is sourced from kalmarna organic garden and the menu changes weekly. The chef/ owner is so creative and talented. I feel that it's like fine dining quality food in an unpretentious and friendly environment. You need to book in advance and they do a 3 course set menu. You can choose vegan or vegetarian. If you are vegan please try this place - so much love and care put into everything, which sadly I feel is rare for vegan food! This place is very very special.

Forest is super impressive and I love that their menu changes so often. It's some of the most unique vegan food I've tried. It's 3 courses yet you don't feel too full as the food is light yet well-seasoned and satisfying. 100% recommend it!

Soooo different & inventive. Nothing else like it in NZ. Locally sourced, low waste, sustainable, foraged, amazing flavors. Excellent service. Lovely ambiance. Reasonable price for such an amazing experience. It's a must try!
