Plant Based Deliciousness

First time visiting this location. I was unaware that dining room was closed. I remained undeterred and placed an order to go. The menu is great. Easy to understand with tons of options since the entire menu is plant based.

I ordered Animal Tots (not on the menu) and absolutely amazing! Very crispy tots, Smokey bacun, carmalized onions, special sauce, and green onions. Since it was a Togo order, they placed the cheese sauce on the side and I am glad they did because I wasn’t a fan. I will definitely get this again and hold the cheese sauce.

I had read many reviews talking about the dirty secret. I was going to get it but the crispy chicken sandwich was calling my name. When I found out that the dirty secret was made with beyond patties (which i love) i was all set to go with the house made crispy chicken. I have beyond patties at home. I did not regret my choice. I will definitely get this sandwich again.

I couldn’t leave without dessert so I went for the carrot cake! Great portion size! Super moist and filled with flavor. Absolute must have again.

If you are in the area, this place is a must for anyone that wants to eat and enjoy their food.

Pros: Many mouth watering choices, Good portion sizes, Friendly staff

Cons: Dining room was closed

Amazing sandwiches!!

First time here and I ordered the Dirty Secret burger which is a Big Mac copycat. It was amazing!! It tasted just like a Big Mac.
We ordered mozzarella sticks and they were also delicious (comes with marinara sauce).
My husband ordered Philly sandwich and it was fantastic.
It was a little pricey but it was worth it!

Pros: Delicious, Environmentally friendly , Outdoor seating available

Cons: A little pricey

Amazing

We tried the chicken bacon ranch wrap and BBQ sandwich. Both were fantastic, and so were the tots. Cheese sauce was okay but didn’t wow me. Cookies were good. It’s a little expensive but was a great treat and the portions were large.

absolute gem

I got their caesar salad with bacon and chicken and it was huge! the bacon was the best tasting vegan bacon i’ve ever had, not the weird tasting packaged stuff. it was delicious, i was just visiting but i’m still thinking about it. house made croutons were delicious as well, wow best salad i’ve ever had. got animal fries but came as tots, because tuesday they have tots on special. it should’ve stated that in the menu, but it was also very very good. next time i will get less grilled onions because it’s lathered in onions and they’re not my fav, but the cheese and special sauce with it was sooo good. hubby got the chx bacon ranch wrap that was delicious oh my gosh, so yummy. side of mac was veryyyy bland and flavorless, only thing i didn’t enjoy. i got a potato salad that was so delicious too!! and a side of pickles that was very fresh tasting, not very vinegary which i liked a lot! arnold palmer was good, just wish it was a tad sweeter. amazing food. other that that the staff was friendly!

Great food. That mimics the food they intend to. The Dirty Secret is a great choice. I've ordered here to go and eat in and both experiences have been great.

Pros: helpful staff, great tasting

Cons: parking can be a hassle

Bad luck with our choices

The Big Secret Big Mac was just how I remembered it tasting (which was many years ago). Cheeze fries were okay but definitely not worth the $3 upcharge. I've made better cheese sauce myself at home. Buffalo chicken wrap was over seasoned/salty. Soyclone was tasty but was on the watery/icy side instead of creamy. Staff was super friendly. I'd definitely try it again when I'm in town. Maybe we just made bad choices.

Delicious Vegan "Fast Food"

All of your fast food favorites made vegan. The chicken sandwich is possibly the best vegan chicken sandwich I have ever had! I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. They are out of this world. The Dirty Secret was yummy (but not that special) and resembled a Big Mac. The people are friendly and you can order and pay by phone.

Ohmigosh so good and so simple!

This place is amazing because it’s so simple - make plant based food easy to understand, eat and, voila, more people will be eating plant based!

This place is so good! The prices are great! Portions are great! So good!

French fries and mozzarella sticks? Ok! Salad- makes you feel a little less naughty? Ok. The sandwiches- wow, but what they’re vegan? Yesssss! A few entrees to round out the menu like fried rice, noodles a la pad Thai style and a rice and bean bowl. Yum!

I wish they had some more dessert options and salad options, but this place is so comforting in how straightforward and delicious the food is. Highly recommend! They have gluten free options too!

Pros: Vegan, Fresh and flavorful , Good prices and portions

Yum!

Really good food. I've only been here a few times, because you have to leave quite a bit of time for the meal. (Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely a slower pace than other restaurants.)

Pros: Food is excellent

Cons: Slower service, Counter service

Best vegan option in St Paul

This is a goto place. When everything lines up it’s amazing but sometimes consistent quality is a challenge.

Pros: Wide variety on menu

Cons: Inconsistent quality

Delicious!

The food here is awesome! We tried the cauliflower wings with buffalo, the crunch wrap, the solo burger with bacun, and a side of carrot ginger soup. It was all delicious and filling. We definitely had leftovers and the serving sizes are great.

Pros: All vegan , Tons of options, They help the community with the community bowl

Cons: Currently no seating options outside

Never been disappointed!

The cauliflower wings are amazing. I get them every visit! I’ve tried the taco wrap, the j Lucy, the mozzerella sticks, the js mess (brunch), nachos, tater tots, all delicious. My aunt tried the cinnyum waffle. It tastes like a Cinnabon! My Mom tried the dirty little secret burger and she didn’t love it. My Dad tried the peanut dish and didn’t love it. My husband has celiacs disease and we don’t go here often because they used to lack gf options, but they have recently changed their menu and added more options for him, so we will be back soon to try some of those. Love this place!

Pros: All vegan, Lots of options!, Great food and service!

Cons: None!

New Favorite Vegan Diner

We visited my son at UMN and went to brunch here. It was so delicious and everyone ate until we were stuffed. Everything feels like comfort food, but no worrying about if something is vegan.

I am looking for an excuse to go back to the twin cities just so I can have the breakfast wrap and fried potatoes again.

Update: we recently returned when dropping our son off for Spring semester. Everything was delicious, except the coffee. The coffee is BAD!

I appreciate that while the prices are not rock bottom, workers are paid a fair wage and it is a no-tip establishment.

Crowd-pleasing comfort food

Great crowd-pleasing comfort food menu that gets occasional updates, and weekly specials. The cauliflower wings are not to be missed - the crunch wrap and the fried rice are my favorite dishes. Their chili and soups are great too. Every non-vegan I've brought here has been thrilled with the food.

Pros: Great all vegan menu, Friendly, helpful staff, Weekly specials

Cons: None!!

The Junkiest of Vegan Shops

ok so the food is "safe", its nice to go to a place and get to order anything off the menu but I wouldn't recommend half the things on their menu. The Dirty Secret is good for a burger, a little expensive for the quality of food. The wings might be...the second or third best in the metro area. IF you're in the area and hungry for junk food then yes, stop in. If you're looking for good food then there are a ton of other restaurants in the area with better ingredients.

Pros: Dirty Secret, Wings, Junk Food

Cons: Parking, Pricey
