SO GOOD!

My boyfriend and I went to check out this restaurant today for lunch. They have an awesome menu with a variety of options! We ordered the cauliflower buffalo "wings" and they were to die for. We were huge Buffalo wings fans before going vegan, so this was an absolute perfect substitute. We also tried one of their burgers with fries which was also pretty tasty. I'm excited to go back and try more menu items.

Pros: Cauliflower Buffalo Wings, Variety of Foods, Delicious

Good news for Twin City Vegans

My travels to Saint Paul happily coincided with the re-opening of J. Selby's - the latest addition to vegan dining here. The menu is upscale vegan "comfort" food served in sleek, modern surroundings. The vibe is energetic. People are lining up to try it out and I hope they keep coming. Sadly, I could only squeeze in an afternoon snack, but the soft serve twist was wonderful and served artistically. In spite of the crowds, the staff are friendly and happy to explain the menu. A must stop for veg/vegans in the area.

Pros: All plant-based menu, Great location, Good value

Bright, welcoming, and 100% plant based

This new restaurant in Saint Paul has a 100% plant-based/vegan menu filled with good food that will appeal to the taste buds of vegans and omnivores alike.

Walk in, look over the menu (with a variety of kosher nod gluten free options), place your order, have a seat, and prepare to enjoy some great made-from-scratch vegan food.

Everything my girlfriend and I have had has been excellent so far, including:
- Buffalo "Wings" - cauliflower with great breading, buffalo sauce, and vegan ranch dressing
- Bacun Caesar Salad
- Dirty Secret - a plant based double patty burger reminiscent of a Big Mac, but fresh and crisp featuring Herbivorous Butcher "meat"
- The Philly - like a Philly cheese steak sandwich, but without the dripping grease
- Buffalo Sub - my girlfriend loved this and said the contents of the sandwich are good enough to eat on their own.
- Spicy Beet Burger - yummy and juicy
- Mediterranean Bowl - a great mix, including falafel
- Asian Bowl
- Quesadillas - excellent filling with delicious sour "cream" on the size.
- Their SoyClones, which are indulgent like a DQ blizzard
- Chocolate brownie

For sides, both the spicy coleslaw and the fresh-cut french fries are superb. They have several good beers on tap, a variety of upscale soft drinks, and they also serve wine.

The ambience is bright and airy, with plenty of windows, wood, white marble, and stainless steel. It's a very pleasant place to sit and eat, whether you belly up to the bar, sit at the community table, cozy into one of their many booths, or just pick a conventional table.

At this point I'd say I am 100% hooked, and have a goal to try everything on the menu.

Pros: 100% vegan menu, Delicious dishes to please vegans and omnivores al, Bright and welcoming ambiance

Cons: None so far
