Great vegan restaurant - Edit
Visited 5 times now and would say it’s my 2nd favourite spot in Kathmandu. Had the Buddha bowl, tofu stairs, seitan sandheko and momo’s. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the Oreo milkshake as it was quite watery.

We had a meal tonight at this restaurant and it was delicious. We had the chilli seitan, bean sprout salad, fries and a dessert, and everything was lovely. There was also a donation box to help feed animals so you can tell the owner cares a lot😄would highly recommend this place!

Authentically good Nepali food in simple surroundings - Edit
Don't let the simple exterior fool you. The food is great, portions are ample, and prices are reasonable. Ice cream is a must try! Lovely owner, too!

I had a soy Oreo shake, seitan chowmein and mushroom pakora and everything was super tasty and not oily. Would definitely eat here again!
Read moreAte here again 😆 Had the tofu pakora and the chilly seitan (not spicy) both delicious and again not oily.
Also had the pancakes as well as the spinach wrap (filled with tofu scramble) the pancakes were good just a bit too sweet for my liking and unfortunately the spinach wrap was too oily but it was tasty (no photos sorry)

Amazing SEITAN ! - Edit
I hadn't eaten a well seasoned and well cooked seitan in a long time! I ordered the seitan sadeko and substituted the beaten rice with regular rice. It was soooo good, and the spiciness was on point (I asked for only a little bit of spice). Then I shared the vegan queen dessert with some friends, which is this beautiful ice cream bowl with fruit, syrup, nuts, and biscuits. So delicious!! Wish I had more time to try the rest of the menu ! Also tried the mushroom chilly, from a friend's plate and it was also amazing.

mediocre - Edit
great to find a completely vegan restaurant in nepal! owners are friendly people and the food is made freshly but unfortunately everything we ordered tasted mediocre at best. pizza tasted bland, the satay wasn’t really a satay and the burger was extremely dry.

Unreal !! - Edit
The food was so good that I went for 3 days in a row, tried everyday some new stuff, ended up falling in love with the spinach pancakes and the seitan sizzlers ( the seitan is also made in-house)......to my utmost delight, yesterday i found out about their homemade ice tea...OMG, to die for.
Read moreAbsolutely beyond reproach, my eternal gratitude and thanks for the chefs / hosts that made by belly so happy. Bring cash - no POS for the moment. Bring also your best attitude - these very lovely people deserve only the best
PS if you still have the gall to inquire about wifi after seeing the unbelievable food in front of you...maybe go to a fancier restaurant with crappy food. This place has hart and soul.

Safe space in Kathmandu - Edit
After being a little bit lost in Kathmandu this place became my safe space right from the beginning. I even spent Nepalese new year festival here, enjoying a vegan all you can eat. The most lovely staff, delicious food and a perfect location made this place perfect for me. My favourite were the momos and the mushroom pakoras!

Good range of dishes. I had some noodles and vegetables (can't remember the name) the lady didn't understand English (I don't expect people to!) So there was a little miscommunication involving my order but the food was good. I would visit again

All vegan food by lovely owner - Edit
The wonderful owner Samu told us she has been vegan for the animals 20 years and opened a restaurant to spread information about veganism in Nepal - to show that you can eat delicious food without harming others. To do so, she learned to cook different foods by following videos on youtube - and now provides a vide and varied menu, with homemade cheese and tofu and seitan.

Pros: Wide selection on menu, Wonderful owner, Totally vegan
