Hit & miss - Edit
Ate here twice mostly out of convenience, as it was directly across from our hotel. Awesome to find a fully vegan place in Kathmandu, but food was up and down and took a long time (the pizza was an hour).
Read more- Ham & cheese pizza had a sickly sweet base, way too sugary and weird. Also took forever as mentioned. 3/10
- Khana set was really tasty especially the seitan sadeko part, would have the sadeko again by itself. Favourite dish I tried here. 8/10
- Seitan chow mein a bit dry and the seitan bits were super crispy verging on burnt. Was served with ketchup on the side which was weird. 6/10
- Chilli seitan, delicious! 8/10
- Momos fine, not the best we’ve had 6/10

Cold food - Edit
After waiting for 25 minutes we got a starter. Waiter completely forgot about the drinks we ordered.
Read moreThen after I complained about the long waiting time, we finally got the main course, which was a plater of food. Unfortunately most of it was already cold, dry and not tasty. We decided not to eat the main. We were still charged service.

All sorts of creative vegan dishes, including breakfast and deserts. I never thought I’d find seitan here and it was delightful. Also, the staff were really kind.
Read moreThe only thing is that I specifically asked for non spicy dishes as I’m very sensitive, and it was very spicy, so if you’re also sensitive make sure to let them know.

A home away from home - Edit
We found this place difficult to spot! But once inside were so well looked after, being ushered to the table under the heater and given glasses of warm water in rainy Kathmandu. Momo soup is gorgeous, and I will be going back for more. The cheesecake is I think constantly changing but nonetheless marvellous. Staff are very sweet. It is inexpensive, but not terribly cheap, you pay for quality and health!

100% vegan and AMAZING food - Edit
We love everything about this place. Realy friendly staff (once you make an effort to connect). Delicious food - particularly the mushroom pokora which is devine! Momos and other dishes are also amazing. A nice mix of mock meats and veg. A lot of local food inspired by the international chain of restaurants called Loving Hut.

Good food, average service - Edit
Good range of Nepalese and Western food. The food is tasty, but takes AGES to prepare. The kitchen is small, but for a place that only seats a few groups at a time service is very slow. We went for breakfast one morning and there were 2 other people- it took 35minutes for my sister to be brought a bowl of cereal with some fruit.

The most amazing place I've been during my month in Nepal! So much good things to eat and some surprising preparations and seasonings. Lots of gluten free option and of course everything is plants based. I will never thanks enough the entire staff for their kindness and hard work 💜 The place is mentionned in this french article about nepal: https://www.laventurevegetale.fr/le-nepal/

Went several time, the food is great (really). The service is terrible though. If you’re (really really) patient it’s ok, otherwise, go to the next address.

There are many places where you can eat good food in kathmandu, but i can guarantee in NONE of them they cook with as much love as in this one! Really amazing food and lovely stuff, it's really rare to find a place like this one!

Hate to leave a bad review but... - Edit
Our experience was all over the place. The staff were very kind and lovely, but there were a few issues. The tofu sticks were so spicy they were almost unedible (didn't say spicy on the menu) and we waited around 15mins for one of our dishes only to be told when we finally asked that it wasn't available. The fish noodle dish was nice, and absolutely loved the oreo milkshake. Would probably go back just for that.

The service is quite slow and the atmosphere is quiet and dark. The staff are lovely ❤️ the food is expensive and the smoothie bowls were watery with no toppings. Wouldn't come back for breakfast. But we had the GF spinach crepe and it was off the hook amazinggggg

The food IS good, and generous. The Khana set, which I had, like all these meals, a bit different to any other. Good.
P'raps we'll be back for a vegan shake - super hard to find in KTM.
Pros: lots of vegan options, on a quieter street, generous tasty meal
Cons: lacks a little atmosphere..., I'd love an ale?

great food - Edit
The food was really good in terms of flavors, the sauces and the texture of the tofu were amazing. The sticky mushroom was a bit dry but then you taste the sauce and you forget about it. The restaurant itself is nice, lovely staff that come and have a chat if they have time and all the people visiting are inspiring too!

Good vegan food but out of momos! - Edit
This restaurant uses quite a lot of seitan and tofu. We had ginger fish (made with tofu and seaweed) and deep fried seitan. Both were good but would have been better with some vegetables. Unfortunately, they didn't have any momos when we were there, which was a shame since I was trying to fill up on momos before flying home!
