Nasty Service

The food and ambience is ok.

But the people that work here have a bad energy. The girl is not so bad. She seems depressed though. The white dude seems to be very angry at something. Seems to be suppressing some deep anger. I don’t like receiving food from someone with that type of energy. It looks like he wants to punch you for ordering something. I could’ve gone to rural Texas for this kind of service.

They take a very long time to prepare things. You don’t see them between ordering and them dropping food at your table. They never check on you. They don’t give you napkins or anything. We had to get up and find everything ourselves. It’s like lunchtime in a high school cafeteria.

I hope life gets better for these people. Seriously.

Pros: Food, Ambience , Location

Cons: Angry Yt guy, Sad Thai girl, Angry Yt guy

Must try place in chiang mai

The food is delicious and cheap! You must try out place. It’s super small and seating is limited. They even have vegan ice cream.

..it lost a much in quality:-(

Just need to add that their portions -at least for red curry- got tiny plus more watery in comparison to a year ago :-(

Nice food but could be greener

This restaurant was near where we were staying, so we came here for dinner. I enjoyed the open-air setting in the middle of a soi. I ordered a coconut, pineapple and mango smoothie, which was very nice and refreshing. The khao soi was delicious and up there among the many I had to in Chiang Mai and other Thai cities. The larb was also tasty. Staff were polite and responsive. We noticed the restaurant had a selection of ice cream so I got a scoop of vanilla and my companion a scoop of Oreo flavour. Mine came with a cone, which was cute and the ice cream was very nice too. Prices were really reasonable too. I noticed there was an upstairs section, which might be nice for a drink or lunch during the day. We ended up coming back for coffee, smoothies (I was a bit surprised Mr Green gave us plastic straws despite request for none) and a decent hamburger during the day. Service was a bit slower and more low-key on that occasion, but I really liked this place and would be a regular if I were a local. #Veganuary

Just OK

This restaurant is considered one of the top rated vegan restaurant in Chiang Mai. While the produce was very fresh, I thought the overall meal was very bland. This was probably my least favorite Vegan restaurant in Chiang Mai.

Beautiful Food; full of flavour

This is a lovely little restaurant with friendly and enthusiastic staff. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is excellent.

The food is fresh, clean and absolutely delicious. I have tried several dishes over the last few evenings and they have all been perfect. Full of flavour, texture and taste. I can’t wait to eat there again. By far the best food in Chang Mai so far. 5*!

Pros: Delicious fresh food, Excellent value , Lovely vibes

Lovely Thai food (and Swedish tea!)

Driven past this place so many times and it has always been closed! I’m glad we didn’t give up because we finally got to eat here and it was really nice.

We got a pad Thai and a tom yum soup, both done very well and also very cheap at only 80 baht each. As a drink, I went for the mixed fruit smoothie—100% recommend! I’m not sure exactly which fruits went into it but it was absolutely delicious and a gorgeous fuchsia colour (probably due to purple dragonfruit). My partner also loved his coconutty iced coffee.

My only small complaint would be that the som tam we ordered as a side had a slightly chemical flavour that usually comes with using bottled lime juice rather than fresh, which put us off ordering it again. There were also quite a lot of flies bugging us, but that could depend on time of day.

The restaurant is quite small but feels spacious as it’s half-open to the outside. There is also a spiral staircase (be aware that it’s very narrow and steep!) leading to a cute little rooftop area, complete with a hammock, small water feature, and barstools overlooking the streets below.

Whilst eating, we noticed that they had some boxes of tea next to the till from Swedish supermarket Ica, which really surprised (and confused) us to see! Turns out one of the owners is from Sweden, so we ended up chatting in Swedish for a while and they even gave us a couple of teabags for free to take home with us. Really sweet people and place. We’ll be back for sure!

Are they open right now? Went by the other day and it looked like there was construction in front so it was closed. Really want to go though!!

Their opening hours are pretty sporadic but the construction doesn’t seem to be affecting them, just makes it a bit tricky to enter from a certain direction. We were there on Wednesday and they were open as usual!

Yummy pad Thai!

Really enjoyed the pad Thai! 😍 It was so tasty, definitely my favourite pad Thai in comparison to the 3 others I had at different vegan/veggie places in Chiang Mai. It was nice sitting outside too, a good ambience.
