Delicious dinner - Edit
We came here for a dinner with a bigger group, and all in all it was really nice! We had a three course dinner with a starter, tofu tonkatsu and biscoff. Good drinks as well!

Great vegan food - Edit
Very good katsu tofu. Also have several vegan desserts but they were a little expensive. They have a nice terrace but it can get quite crowded on Saturday evenings.

Nice place, buffet unsurprising - Edit
It has a nice decor and atmosphere. Went there for a lunch buffet but I was a bit let down. The buffet was very usual. Maybe the dishes you order from kitchen are better.

Inspiring, fresh and good quality vegan food. - Edit
Lunch buffet offers a serious vegan feast.
Read moreDelicious, fresh baked white bread that goes dangerously well with the home-made hummus is a default on every lunch at Onda. A large iron pot with some spicy warm vegan stew is also a usual sight at the buffet, next to a bowl of rice it is served with. Then comes the creative, colorful, world-inspired sallads, sauces and spreads.
After all this, if your sweet tooth is pulsing, there's always vegan options in the vitrine. Donuts with exciting coatings and some snickers bars is expected at lunch hours every day.
This review is written from a vegan perspective, but Onda also offers a full spectrum of options for the omnivores in the party.
Pros: Definitely vegan-friendly!, Creative dishes!, Vegan donuts everyday!
Cons: Lame filter coffee., Quality comes with cost., Not fully vegan.

The sevice was very nice and food was great also. For 12 euro you could eat as much as you want. The only think which could be better is that for lunch bufet there was only one warm vegan meal

Great for everyone - Edit
Went to ONDA with a close part of my family. There were options for everyone (meat, GF and lots of vegan/plant-based options). The food was packed with flavor and presentet nicly. I had a flavour ritch seitan steak, lined with sweetpotato mash around the steak. Also had a cranberry kombucha, but this one was not good at all.
Read moreThe staff was nice. They brought out foccatia looking bread with a hummus dip, as well as a GF option with a several hummus dip. The decoration of the resturant/bar was also very cool and vintage, kind of random, but I liked it.
Would definitely visit again.

Good food and a nice terrace - Edit
Onda used to be one of my favorites in Helsinki, but after moving to the new location the service isn’t as good anymore. The food is still good though and they have a great lunch buffet with a lot of vegan options. The terrace outside is also very nice in the summer :)

Lunch buffet is great value and they have vegan cakes - Edit
The lunch buffet is great value, super tasty salads (lentil salads, quinoa salads, hummus, tapenade, pickled veggies, noodle salad, the selection changes every day) and a vegan warm dish. And they have about five different vegan cakes, a couple of raw cakes and rocky road and today they had chocolate mousse mango cake. Lunch is cheap, 10,80 € but cakes are expensive, like 6 € (which is usual in Finland).

I came here to have brunch with some friends. unfortunately they had messed up our reservation, but still squeezed us in and gave us sparkling wine as compensation (Thanks for that!).
Read morethe brunch was pricey (more than 20€), but SO worth it!!! most dishes were vegan, and all of those just plain delicious! they also had a vegan desert provided which was not convincing to me, but as i said, everything else was great and probably the best food I had so far in Finland!

Onda has a nice brunch buffet on the weekends, with many vegan options and a latin american feel. All vegan options are clearly marked, as well and gluten and other allergens. The desserts were also very tasty. Could be made at least 100% vegetarian.

Good place to visit in vegan or mixed company. - Edit
Visited this saturday and was pleaced with my expirience. The brunch buffet had plenty of vegan and gluten free options and the food was bit more ambitious than most other vegan/vegan friendly places of same price range in Helsinki. The dessert of mini mudcake squares was not vegan, but I was provided with vegan peanutbutter chocolat squares, when I asked them about it.
Read moreAll the foods in the buffet were clearly labeled if they were vegan and if they weren't what animalproducts they contained. The gluten free options were also marked. The labels where in finnish, so if you can't speak finnish, ask help from the staff or come prepaired with some basic vegan vocabulary. For the gluten free folks out there, mind the differnce between "gluteeniton" = gluten free and "sis. gluteenia" or "sisältää gluteenia" = contains gluten.
The alacarte menu had several tempting vegan options. The nonvegan options were in the minority, but looked interesting enough to catch the eye of your possible the nonvegan companions. I think I will definitely come back to check out the alacarte dishes some day.
Pros: Abitious food., Plenty of vegan options., Nice interior.

Super brunch! - Edit
I was going to Silvoplee for a Saturday lunch but on the way I saw this new place nearby and decided to pop in. And what a pleasant surprise it was. About 80 % of the food on the brunch table was vegan. Of course I had to try all of them and first time in my life, every item was delicious and had a really hard time choosing the second serving: all fresh, all with its own flavor. Amazing! Only dessert was non-vegan but after inquiring after vegan option, I was served a delicious vegan chocolate cake. And all for very reasonable price of 16 euros. The interior has a very communal feel to it, maybe not a place for a romantic evening.
