good food but too expensive - Edit
i came to plantees late at night as it was the only vegan food in the area that was open late at the time. i had heard of plantees before, but never eaten there because i was not a fan of the prices and it was also not convenient for me.
Read morei ordered two (single patty) burgers, plant fries, side nuggets, and 2 milkshakes. they were all delicious, and me and my friend did enjoy the meal. the milkshakes were a bit heavy but the burgers were good and so were the fries! i liked the nuggets but they were not anything too special.
my two biggest complaints are related to price and portion size. although i ordered a lot of food, i would usually expect the bill to be a lot less than it was given that the burgers about palm size and the fries came in a fairly small box. additionally, every topping and extra bit seemed to cost even more money. i could see high prices for a premium quality item, but plantees technically just fast food. while it was tasty, i don't really think that the prices are worth it for fast food quality items.
so overall, i'd say the taste was good, but the portions and prices would probably motivate me to find somewhere else to eat.
Pros: good food, hits the fast food spot, nice dining area
Cons: portion sizes are abysmal, very very expensive

Burgers are good, milkshakes are sooo good! - Edit
The burgers are really good- fast food style burgers, but way better than most fast food. Burgers are a bit small for the price.
Read moreThe milkshakes, however, are the real star here. When I lived in Orlando, I would come here often for an Oreo milkshake!

Bland food, forced tip, mediocre service - Edit
The food tasted like a McDonald's quality burger and for the price point its just not worth it. Add insult to injury with the forced tip "gratuity fee" for literally doing the absolute bare minimum... this place honestly deserves 1 star.

good food, terrible service with mandatory 15% sneaky tip - Edit
this is a self serve fast food restaurant. You order on a screen, you make your own drink, you wait for a notification for your food and you get up and get it yourself, and you clean your own table. they have now made it mandatory to tip the staff 15%, they add that to your total bill so youre taxed that amount, and thats added unnoticed in the beginning, they THEN direct you to a tip screen to get another tip from you, for a self service takeout fast food restaurant.
Read moreive already seen dozens of vegans say they wont return, this is ridiculous and unfortunately removing a good vegan burger option, as ill definitely never support scamming as a type of business tactic. I've never found the service to be friendly, theres literally not even a greeting they just look at you like youre supposed to know exactly what to say to them without them asking the question, and then theyll swipe $10 tip for doing their jobs in a mediocre way. just crazy. especially in this economy, just pay your workers a decent wage.

Super star with that 2a close - Edit
Next to a rock venue, accessible bathrooms. Tons of seating outdoors. Great vibe. You order at the notebook kiosk or in-person with the superb employees. They are packed! They were out of kale salad too bad for me. I didn’t have to lick my fingers after the clean and crispy chicken burger - easy to eat and big yum

Awful Burger - Edit
The shake was good but the burger was terrible, like a bad hospital or school burger. The bun had no substance, the patty was thin and had an off-putting texture, the cheese and mushrooms were so thin as to be not tasted and barely seen. I couldn't eat more than a few bites, it was the worst food I've had in a very long time.

The kale salad was a nice option instead of fries. The burger was perfection.

Super yummy vegan junk food! A great deal at $10 for a combo meal with gourmet burger, fries and a drink. The mushroom truffle burger was delicious and my carnivore friend enjoyed the bacon burger!

Best vegan burger I’ve ver had in ORL - Edit
The place is goooooood. The people who work there are very kind. You can have a lunch for 10 USD that includes the burger, a side and a fountain drink. I had the burger bbq spicy and was amazing!

We went there as a family and tried a few of the small, delicious selections. We loved everything. The fries with cheese sauce, onions, and vegan bacon were also delicious. The shake is like a big soft ice cream 😋

I didn't order food but did go there twice for their shakes which are great, especially the matcha flavor! They're thick and creamy like they should be.

Fresh and Tasty - Edit
I'm glad I made the effort to try this place. I tried the bacon burger and buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. I liked the portion sizes because I wanted to try both sandwiches. Everything was fresh and every bit as good as any fast food I have ever tasted. The packaging was nice too. The price was a little high, but not outrageous these days. I would definitely return.

The burgers were surprisingly tasty and unexpected. They were a nice size for a late night snack. The milkshakes were also very tasty as well. The fries can be skipped as I like my steak fries.

Worth trying - Edit
There are a lot of vegan spots in Orlando, if you're out late looking for some grub, check this out, if you're looking for the very best places, there are other options. The staff is super friendly, the space is hip and clean. It's good food, it's just a bit pricey for what you get. Split some things between a friend, got a buffalo chicken sandwich, which was about twice as big as the shrooms burger we had. The loaded fries were good. Like a big Mac poured over shoestring fries. This has been the most expensive vegan stop so far in Orlando $42 for the 2 sandwiches, fries and tip. I wouldn't say don't go, it's certainly worth tasting and supporting, it just isn't something you NEED to try if you're here for a trip
