Nice Vegan buffet - Edit
I used to work there as a waitress and helping hand in the kitchen and fell i love with the food. You get a big vegan buffet with Lots of options with warm and cold dishes and salads. Nice mixture of pasta, patatoes, rice, veggies, curry and other sauces, salads, toppings like fried tofu etc. They also offer soups and cake. The buffet changes a little bit twice a year. Usually the food tastes good and is good quality but especially when it‘s very crowded it get‘s a little bit messy. You can choose from 3 different plate sizes and load it with food once. In you stack your food wisely you can get very full with the small or medium size. Always a Safe and good choice.

Loved the concept, loved the food even more. For my personal taste I would add more fresh and not “over-dressed” salads. Other than that verity and flavors will impress even non-vegan clients. Really cosy and lovely dinner experience.❤️🌱🥗🌏🌸❤️

We tried the buffet for lunch and had a big plate of food with an apple juice for 12,90€. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! I also liked that no plastic straws were available, only paper straws. Overall very nice atmosphere!

Great selection and variety. Almost the only vegan restaurant option in Dusseldorf. The coffee/ cappuccino is not recommended, tastes watery. The crumble with vanilla is delicious.

Very tasty great variety of salads, vegetables and hot dishes on a well arranged buffet. You can choose the size of the plate. Very comfortable idea. Very good quality of food. I had a carrot walnut cake after my lunch, so delicious. Fair prices. I will come back to this great restaurant. I like the location of the near by port.

I loved the concept of this place!! You choose the size of the plate and then you could fill it up with so many choices. I chose the large plate and filled mine with rice, tofu, vegetables, and potatoes. I enjoyed every bite of it!! At the end we ordered chocolate cake and vanilla crumble. Both desserts were soo good. I highly recommend this place.

I like the fact that they have 3 different sizes for their plates so you can choose depending on how hungry you are, and more importantly leave space for desert! Their crumble is amazing! They have a great variety of salads and hot meals ( I recommend the tofu in peanut sauce) and usually 3 soups and a few cakes. Everything can be taken away and the staff is super helpful and friendly. They have outside spaces for when the weather permits.

I have been at Sattgrün multiple times now and it tastes just as awesome every time. The buffet has an overwhelmingly big offer ranging from basics like rice, potatoes and tofu up to complete dishes on its own, as well as various salads. The taste is amazing and a large plate will definitely fill you up, leaving you satisfied until the next day. For dessert, different, absolutely delicious, cakes are offered that come in big pieces. Plus the staff is very friendly. Go there now!

This place was good for a visit after a long day. There was a good range of dishes available in the buffet though I felt many focussed on fake meat, the food was of a decent quality though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd come again.

The other 2 locations were closed due to holiday. It's a buffet where you pay by the size of the plate. They also have soup. I got the largest plate under 11€ at this time and loaded it high with most everything. Everything was great I especially liked the Brussels sprout curry with bananas. There is a parking garage across the street and you can walk to the tower.

I am a little late in writing this review (by a couple of years, alas), but this restaurant was so good when I visited Duesseldorf, I went back no fewer than 3 more times during my week-long stay! I could not really fault it at all. Vegan rhubarb crumble with vegan custard! What more can I say. Provided these standards have been maintained, I can recommend this place to all vegetarians, vegans and even those 'unbelieving' omnivores and carnivores. This is the kind of place you can take 'them' to to show them just how good meat-free food can be!

The only thing that confused us was the price of 0.75l still water. It was something like 5 euros.
I don't know whether it was some famous water brand but we would like to have an option of buying usual water.

I love their food because they include lots of seasonal vegetables, have many different choices and their fake meat is good and not too meaty. Before choosing a soup, the customers may taste them. How cool is that?!? Their crumble (fruit changes according to season) is a must. I am so happy that they have recently changed their opening hours and that I can now go in the evening and on sundays too.
