Great lunch or breakfast spot

Had a veggie wrap, it had hummus and no cheese I needed to avoid. Breakfast options as well.

Not worth trying

I went and asked about vegan options and got a side eye and a menu. Only had a few options. I walked out and went next door to Delicious Raw.

Cons: Very few choices, Staff isn’t veg friendly

Some options

Some options for vegans could be their Vegan Bowl (I recommend asking for brown rice to be added to it), Oatmeal, Avocado Toast (ask for no eggs), Costa Rican dish (ask for no eggs), a Veggie Wrap (choose hummus version) and the House salad (ask if they have vegan dressing). I had their vegan bowl with rice that I had them add and it tasted good but not great. The salsa definitely helped add some flavor and I appreciate that they are trying and added a vegan bowl to their menu. I also like the beautiful tropical mural of costa rica inside on the wall. Their iced teas are good. They also have soy or almond milk available for in coffee/beverages.

Pros: Good location, Friendly staff

Only a couple vegan options

Today I went to have lunch but there were only two options and everything had added oil. Friendly place. OK to go with a meat eater.

Needs more vegan options

I visited sunburst cafe for brunch on my way out of town, and sadly there were really no vegan options for breakfast. People came and ate omelettes and pancakes and such. They easily *could* add a tofu scramble to their menu to rival the primarily egg-based menu. If you're vegetarian, you will find plenty of options, including fresh baked bakery goods (with eggs). The place was packed so they have plenty of vegetarian and meat eating customers, and you may have to wait for a table to empty. Staff was very friendly.

They do offer almond milk for coffee. Fresh mimosa was also good.

great food, vibrant atmosphere, a must!

I've been here a few times and always for breakfast. It's a small place where you order at the counter, pay and grab a table and someone brings the food to you. On the weekends watch your timing cause if there's a mad rush there may be no place to sit and everyone plays the vulture game. I've had the oatmeal which was filling and delish! And before I went vegan I had a veggie omelet which was good as well. The coffee is good and they have refreshing OJ. Service has always been quick and I've never had a problem. Looking forward to going back and trying one of their salads or veggie wrap!

Pros: healthy cuisine, excellent food, helpful staff

Cons: limited seating
