Best burrito - Edit
When I’m looking for Mexican food, this is the only place I go. The huge vegan burrito with tempura yam is soo good, it’s genius to use shredded cabbage and no lettuce as it stays nice and crunchy. The extra warm and crunchy tempura is also a nice contrast to the mushy beans, rice and guac. I ask for no cilantro.

The one thing that I do not like though — that they charge the same amount for the vegetarian and the vegan burrito, but they charge less to get the vegetarian burrito with tempura yam and charge more to get the vegan burrito with tempura yam…
Perhaps if more people ask why they can’t get the “super veg” as a vegan option and have to pay more for the tempura yam, Tacofino will get rid of this unfair surcharge. The restaurant’s logic was that guac for the vegan burrito costs more and that is why they charge extra for tempura yam — that is not logical.
