Tasted like the real Japanese curry but vegan - Edit
We didn't plan to stop for lunch, but in the end we tried this Japanese curry place that we had in mind for a long time. We weren't disappointed, it really tasted like authentic Japanese curry but vegan. I wish they had vegan udon options too.

Decent lunch deal - Edit
Takenori offers a lunch deal with a vegan curry and tea. It was nice but very simple, there were maybe 4 pieces of veggies in the curry. I added edamame for an extra fee which helped. They have some outside tables so on a sunny day it's a decent spot to stop for a small lunch.

Habe so eine spezielle „Bowl“ echt noch nie gegessen und war mega begeistert. Ich hatte die Nr. 15 und fand sie richtig lecker! Kann ich nur empfehlen! Die veganen Pfannkuchen als Nachspeise hätten ein bisschen fluffier und saftiger sein können. 🙈

Read moreWe came here on a Sunday evening for dinner and the place offers Japanese food and the vegan dishes are clearly marked. I had the vegan katsu-curry which had a fried soya schnitzel, rice, salad and sauce. I never had a Japanese curry before but this one tasted really good. Though I felt that the proportions were a bit off, needed to leave a lot of sauce, I rather prefer that than having too less.
I don’t really have anything to complain about the food, but on the other hand the service was really bad. For me this is something really important and both the waiters sadly felt arrogant and not friendly. I was even charged for the tap water which has never happened to me before.
Might come back to this place as the food was really tasty but the service makes me hesitant.

They offer vegan and vegetarian options, the dishes are clearly labeled, and the food tastes great. It’s one of my favorite places in the area and I usually end up there once a week - the vegan curry with the soy Schnitzel (in the picture) and the vegan Korokke are my favorites 😄

This place is all about traditional japanese comfort food, they do serve meat and dairy, but you can fully customize and assemble your dish to your own liking out of a variety of different sorts of rice and a wide selection of toppings, the vegan Korokke really are fantastic!
