So glad I came here! - Edit
A really relaxing spot by the beach with a massive menu. Really well priced cocktails. The toilets were clean. The staff were nice and leant me a charger. Would definitely recommend. Chickens and dogs running around. Just a nice place.

Decent - Edit
The staff was nice although they forgot to bring me a menu (that happens) I ordered the falafel bowl and had to wait 30 minutes for my food and when it arrived it honestly wasn't good (and it was more a pattie than a falafel)

They do have a big menu therefore maybe try going on a dish that has recommendation

Huge menu and very good! - Edit
Comfy seating and just a short walk from the beach, close enough to enjoy the vibe, though not directly on the waterfront. The menu is impressively varied, offering everything from Vietnamese classics to Western dishes, all done really well. A great spot and definitely recommended.

Idyllic spot, lovely food - Edit
I loved this place. I had the fresh spring rolls but would have loved to have ordered one of everything. Beautiful shady garden just behind the beach and much cheaper than the surrounding beach restaurants.

All vegan - Edit
We had the pizza, and we’re quite sure the cheese was vegan.
Read moreWe also really enjoyed the Five Spices Tofu and the Szechuan eggplant.
The service was friendly.
The place is very pleasant with children, as it’s a bit quieter and surrounded by greenery.

Excellent Food! - Edit
Such a lovely place near to the beach. Large garden, even has a couple of darts boards! Very relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic food, we had red & green curry, special bowl, golden bags, tofu.. all delicious. I would highly recommend.

Very bad - Edit
They add non-vegan cheese to the pizza. Also, the staff is blatantly lying. Disgusting place.

Nice relaxing spot, okay food - Edit
We had lunch here before visiting the beach. The coconut coffee was too much ice for us. We had to wait quite some time for our food even though it was not that busy (around 30min). The vegan sandwich was good, but I would not recommend the falafel bowl. The tahini sauce did not taste like tahini and the falafel didn’t taste like falafel at all. Maybe their other food is better.

Outstanding Vegan Restaurant with a Relaxed Vibe - Edit
This is a fantastic restaurant with a great story. Originalally, a local fishing family and now passionate about supplying tasty vegan food.
Read moreWe have visited many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is extensive so there was always something new to try.
They also have cocktails, which are both delicious and very reasonable.
The location and gardens are beautiful, the staff are helpful and friendly. A must visit if you are in the area.

Nice chill garden - Edit
Although it’s not on the beach, it has a very relaxing garden. The shaded area was cool even with the sun being super hot. I had a quesadilla that was quite full of ingredients including very creamy cheese alternative. The coconut coffee was quite good and the whole coconut water was ice cold with a whole lot of water inside. The hammock was a nice place to chill when the sun started going down.

Nice but possibly not fully vegan - Edit
We came here because we thought it was a fully vegan beach restaurant! So exciting right!! Well we were a bit disappointed for two reasons.
Read more1) it used to be situated at the beach, with sun beds and all, but recently it moved one street down so you’re not actually hanging out at the beach.
2) there are several recent claims saying they are serving cows cheese on their pizza, but still stating it’s vegan and the cheese is home-made. If you look at reviews on Google Maps you can see the pizza looks different than a few months ago. As common in Vietnam the difference between vegan and vegetarian is not well-understood. Our intention was to stay for dinner and have a pizza but after these reviews we didn’t feel comfortable.
Other than that, the dishes we had were great, two coconut coffees (good but strong), one ham and cheese burger (good but small burger and small portion of fries, left me still hungry for lunch), and quesadillas, good and filling. None of these seemed to have dairy (didn’t taste like it and also I’m intolerant so would’ve noticed if there was dairy cheese)
We were there on a sunny day from around 13-17 and except for some people coming and going it was rather quiet. Toilets are clean. Hammocks were nice, indoor and outdoor area and lots of seating. Inside was cool, plenty of shade outside too. Children seem to like it as there is much room to play. Very quiet, as opposed to the super crowded beach nearby.

Beautiful Beach View - Edit
This place has more of a western food vibe to it. It's still tasty, but not nearly as good as the more tradional options. The eating area next to the beach is very nice and relaxing!

Veganes Paradies - Edit

Definitely open! - Edit
Open for wonderful food and drink and beautiful calm atmosphere👍🥰 We have bee several times now and never disappointed. Friendly people who moved our bikes to the shade while we were sitting in the beautiful bamboo restaurant eating another wonderful meal. The photo shows the fisherman special starter, buddah bowl and bean and chickpea burger. Fantastic menu and freshly cooked so allow time to sit and chill in the garden surrounds. Enjoy!

Essen war gut, direkt am Meer.
Read moreWir fanden auf der Karte für unseren Geschmack nichts besonderes, normaler Standard aber lecker.
Pros: Die Lage am Meer
Cons: Service eher langsam
MikeFeinstein
Yes the service can be langsam, but that is because it is a small family-run business often with only one waitress. So when you go there, it has to be with the expectation that you will be there for a long time and hopefully relaxed

The only fully vegan place along An Bang Beach - Edit
This seems to be the only fully vegan place near An Bang Beach. While travelling in Hoi An, I found that An Bang Beach was much more quiet and comfortable compared to hotels near Old Town, and you can get between An Bang Beach and Hoi An Old Town easily and cheaply with Grab. The Fisherman is right along An Bang Beach, and you can eat while breathing in the sea air and listening to the ocean. The place also seems to have their own sunloungers. The menu of this restaurant describes how this restaurant became vegan despite its name, and it is interesting that the restaurant highlights that seafood is becoming a lot less safer nowadays due to ocean contamination with microplastics, heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and other pollutants. This is a great reason for us to support cultivated meat once it comes out. This restaurant also has many cute dogs who seem to live here, one of whom sat with me while I ate. Credit card is accepted and there is a toilet at the back.

Feels like home - Edit
Especially loving their pancakes! They also have chairs directly next to the water, so one can enjoy swimming while hanging out there. They also offer towels and beach boards and have showers. First went there 2 years ago and they are still incredible. The menu is quite big and there is a mix of western style and asian food.

Good option for the beach - Edit
While I was glad to have found the place and to be able to have a proper meal right at the beach with a view of the sea, as others have mentioned before, I found the food to be alright but not that great and rather on the pricey side. I actually believe the very vast range of western and asian dishes is a minus, since usually a place that offers pizza, burgers, mexican and indian food etc. as well as breakfast dishes cannot do all of them well. The mixed bowl of rice, avocado, vegetables and beans I had was alright, but pretty bland. The burger with fries my boyfriend ordered was more satisfying and tasty, but not really worth coming here of its own right. The coconut coffee was amazing, it really is a great option for drinks as well.
