Good Vegan Vietnamese in Little Tokyo - Edit
Good meat alternative versions made vegan. We had the Vegan Pho and the Flamingo Bowl for mains, and the tropical ball as a small plate.
Read moreFresh, tasty and filling. Good value for money. The Tropical ball had an amazing crispy exterior complemented by fleshy jackfruit inside. Highly Recommended! The pho needed a bit more depth of flavor. Seems dialed down to suit the local taste.
The interiors need a bit of work, the tables were shaking quite a bit which generally happens. This needs to be taken care of, as soupy food such as Pho tend to spill over.
The sad part, was they did not accept card payment.

Good vibes - Edit
I came here with two non-vegans, which always makes me feel a bit anxious. I simply want them to see how good vegan food can be. This restaurant turned out to be a great place to let them experience great vegan food!
Read moreThe service was very good. I would defend take a look at their recommendations. The food came very quickly, but the presentation was still on top.
We ordered 6 small bowls and 1 big bowl for 3 people. I would recommend taking one or two extra small bowls if you have big eaters with you. Including our drinks, we only paid 25 euros per person.
I would definitely recommend eating here :)

Das Essen war toll. Wir waren hier Omnis und ich, allen hat es geschmeckt. Der Service hatte leider Sprachschwierigkeiten, wodurch es zur ein oder anderen Panne kam. Wer damit leben kann, hat einen tollen Abend mit sehr leckeren kleinen und großen Bowls.

Great 2nd location - Edit
Update: we came again and we got great food and drinks. I wanted to add that the staff were really kind and friendly. Our daughter was very tired after an already long day and they gave her some balloons to help her mood. Later, when she knocked her head, they immediately gave us some ice and made us feel very welcome despite the commotion. What could have been horrible for us turned out to be a friendly show of compassion by the staff (and fellow customers).
Read moreThis is a case where the 2nd location is better than the original. It feels much more peaceful here and a place where you can enjoy your meal at your own pace without feeling that you might be taking up space. That being said we visited around 2pm on a Saturday.
The choice is great and the food is really flavoursome. I had preferences like the tofu and mushroom in vine leaves and the gyoza but the other dishes did not disappoint. They also have a wide selection of hot and cold drinks.
The toilets are new and the restaurant has a lovely decor that makes it feel a little bit like a spa waiting room.
The service was fast and helpful and we would definitely come to this location again to try out more of the menu. We had 5/6 small plates, 3 drinks and 1 large dish and with the included tip the total was around 72€.

Great as always on our 3 rd visit - Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh - from salad to spring roll to flamingo bowl to quintessential Vietnamese pho, black rice mango dessert, fresh tea. Fresh Mint ginger tea is great. Service is great. Restaurant packed up on Friday night, everyone got served quickly with great looking food. Pleasant friendly efficient service. Always great food, service. 6 minutes, you receive the meal!

Das Essen kann sich sehen lassen, es ist nämlich nicht nur lecker sondern auch noch hübsch angerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jedesmal wieder hin. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

To1980 Vegan ist IMMER ein Besuch wert! Das Lokal ist so süß gemacht, es läuft herrlich entspannende Pianomusik, die Bedienungen sind Engel, es geht immer blitzschnell und das Essen ist eine glatte 10/10 ☺️💞🇻🇳 komme immer gerne wieder hierher!

Read morestaff is really friendly and you can either sit inside or out but the street may be busy. food arrives fast (10min or smth).
serves vietnamese vegan food in either large or small bowls (the latter are more like starters or fingerfood). i had number 39 (unfortunately, i forgot the name) and it really was delicious. the portion was quite large, too.
ps: you'll get a 20% discount until september 30 (2023) because of their recent opening:))
