A branch of T's Restaurant with signature dish being tantan ramen. Offers also gyoza, salads, curry, and soy meat meals. Limited menu mornings, full menu from 10am, last order 30 minutes before closing. It's inside JR Ueno Station in Ecute shopping center on the 3rd floor, above platform 8 at the northern part of the station. Reported open November 2025. Open Mon-Fri 10:00am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-9:00pm. Last order 30min before closing.

Gem in the subway station

The food is fantastic, several choices was difficult to decide what to eat.
To find wasn't easy as the GPS send me outside. You go as for the park exit but before you get out of the station (before the barrier) it on the left side.

Pros: Tasty food, Staff very friendly, Cosy place

Their great noodles saved us many times, when we are not able to find vegetarian food.

Oh so good!

Was a bit worried as I’ve never been a fan of Japanese food, even vegan version - always smelled too fishy for me - but had their signature tamtam and that was one of the best things I’ve ever had 👍

Ottima alternativa vegana se si ha necessità di mangiare verdura cotta, non cotta dentro a brodo animale. La scelta non è così ampia ma va bene.

Excellent

The first night I had the golden sesame tan yan and omg it was so delightful!
The second night I had the cold black sesame tan tan and it was still tasty, but I enjoyed it less. I'm looking forward to try the Yuzu ramen next time!
I also enjoyed the small bowl of rice with soy protein, and the soy yoghurt with jam as a dessert. I enjoyed the gyoza a little bit less.
But overall an excellent vegan place and very reasonably priced.

Quick service and nice food

Incredible vegan ramen

I got the combo with the golden sesame ramen and the gyozas. Really good, and very filling.

Delicious cold spicy ramen

Quick service, great range of dishes. I had black sesame Tantan ramen with 6 pieces of vegetable gyoza and a lovely cold beer. Staff are allergy-aware.

Delicious ramen and super fast service

Came for dinner having seen the reviews on here. Had the white sesame ramen with gyoza and a beer. The man who served me was super lovely and was working super hard as the place was pretty busy. Would definitely visit again when I'm next in town

Zoals de andere dependances van T's tantan is deze ook zeer goed. Het eten is heerlijk en de mensen zijn aardig. Ik had niet door dat ik het verkeerde had gekregen dus toen ik al bijna halverwege was kwamen ze naar me toe om aan te bieden of ik het wou ruilen. Erg aardig, aangezien ik het zelf nog niet eens had opgemerkt.

A vegan's paradise

Kurz gewartet und dann ging alles ganz flott. Es gibt eine kleine aber super feine und frische Auswahl an Ramen, Gyoza und Pflanzenschnitzel. Uns hats super geschmeckt!
Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert wenn man im Ueno Park ist!

The perfect ramen

After a long warm day exploring Ueno my first taste of T's Tantan quickly brought my mood up. The staff who served us was quick to tend to us and was very kind throughout. The cold special Ramen we got was the perfect treat and filled us even though we hadn't eaten in a while. I can't recommend T's Tantan enough if you want vegan ramen this is the place to go.

Pros: Amazing staff, Great food, very tasty, Great location

Hard to find but tasty

Good food & super friendly staff!

We came to this place after visiting tokyo national museum and we were very pleasently surprised. The food was tasty and the staff was suuuper friendly (they even asked us if we had food allergies). The food was also served very quickly!
The only downside is that you have to enter the station though the ticket gate (which cost us 150yen per person with the suica card) and that the restaurant is not that easy to find because the station is pretty big. But never the less we would definitely come again! :)

Try it!

T's TanTan is a wonderful place in Ueno Station, which I can only recommend going to! The staff is super kind and asks for allergies or special wishes when ordering.
All of the dishes we tried were super delicious and filling. It was hard to stopp eating and not ordering another portion instead!

Great ramen

Good quality sesame ramen at a decent price. Hard to find - located through the gates of the JR terminal next to the entrance to platform 8 (floor 3).

Tasty & quick!

Very quick and tasty, we especially liked the broth of the golden sesame soup and vegetable gyoza. Not easy to find for Anglo tourists not used to the rail station - be sure to head toward Park Gate and then the many signs for Ecute.

Rare vegan find in Tokyo

So glad to find this vegan lunch after a day at the museum. Very friendly and polite staff. Food was good - tan tan bowl was a bit dry, gyoza rated 4/5 by our kids, noodles top shelf.

Fantastic broth but meh noodles

The broth of my golden sesame ramen was excellent but the noodles were pretty forgettable. The gyoza were pretty good too! Definitely recommend if you’re passing by. Price was very fair too!
