This restaurant is small and the menu is not very big, but the ramen dishes are really good. There's a few different sesame broth based ones plus one or two non sesame, we went in early June and the special was a cold lemon ramen.

There's no dessert except a yogurt and jam which came with a set meal.
The allergens are clearly marked on the menu ( very rare in Japan).
All in all a brilliant place to have a quick lunch on your way to the museums.

Super delicious and satisfying ramen style bowl (we’ve tried golden sesame and black sesame) and rice bowl with soy protein. There are a number of options for add-ons. We tried lemon rice and soy yogurt with strawberries. Portions are medium (not huge so I’d get a set meal if you’re really hungry).

We ordered the white sesame tan tan. It was very good. The size is on the more modest size (not a huge bowl of ramen), but this was actually perfect for us because we ate a huge lunch that day. I actually found the noodles themselves very tasty. Because the restaurant is in Ueno station, we ended up having to pay to access the restaurant. Not sure if we did something wrong, but it was only like 150yen, so not terrible.

This is one of the places I want to visit again before leaving Tokyo. I had the black sesame which was delicious, my girlfriend the golden sesame which was even better! It also has one of the better gyozas I've had so far.

Not worth the hype and reviews. Got the seasonal item set and it was not the greatest, was okay though, the rice with soy protein was extremely dry and bland. Ordered the gyoza as well, it was also just okay.

EDIT 1: So I went back here two more times because I was going and coming back using hokuriku shinkansen twice. I got their regular menu items and they are a bit better than the seasonal temporary menu. But my opinion still stands, I've had some fantastic vegetarian/vegan ramen in Japan and this is still just a baseline for me, it's not the worst but it's definitely nowhere near the best

Tricky place to find as you have to enter through JR Ueno Station - look at the other comments for more info. That said, it clearly deserves to be top rated in Tokyo. I had the Golden Sesame ramen with extra toppings of vegan cheese, soy meat and coriander. It was truly delightful, I enjoyed the variety of tastes and the peanut butter 🤩 Also, the staff was nice !

Great vegan ramen. I’m not big on sesame, but this was not too overpowering. The waitstaff was very nice. They take your order here and give you a ticket to check out. It was quiet with dividers between tables.

I was so relieved to see T’s survive the pandemic. I’m going to add to location instructions here to add to the help. First food: wonderful ramen, got white sesame, and their veg chicken has really improved since I last tried it four years ago! Went at lunch on a Monday and didn’t have to wait. Will go back again to try Yuzu.
Read moreNow, location: read what everyone said. I thought I could be clever and arrive at ueno station from asakusa and be inside but it seemed like it forced me to exit (I was toward the lower part and couldn’t get/find North and I ended up in a separate mall.) Was very confusing.
Edit: Later I figured out it's because Ueno station (from Ginza) is different from JR Ueno station. So you need to pay to get into to JR Ueno station.
The simplest way to find this place is to go by park entrance which means by the outside, west side of the station where all the stuff is (ueno park, museums, zoo) from the outside, you’re trying to get to the 3rd floor. You’ll have to tap in and pay again if you are me. Luckily for us a local offered to literally walk us there from the park side, probably saved us a solid 20 mins. I will see if I can add any helpful pics.
Edit with trip 2: if you come from Ginza to Ueno station, look for the panda bridge on the map as that will lead you to generally the right area outside in order to get into the 3rd floor. On my second trip once I got to the Acute mall on the 3rd floor using the Acute wall map was really helpful. I know this is all simple stuff for experienced travellers but I hope this will help at least one other person out there. Second time I had the golden ramen which had a little peanut butter, it was interesting!
