I had the Golden Sesame Tantan, which tasted okay but it wasn't exciting and not something I'd come back for.

This is the third branch of t’s tantan that I’ve been to and I enjoyed this place as I did the others. If you’re in the area, definitely a comforting meal. However, I don’t think they do anything incredibly special.

A rare find - Edit
Veg-friendly ramen is becoming easier to find in Tokyo, but veg-friendly tantanmen is still a foreign concept to a lot of shops. T's is excellent, well worth the trip upstairs.

We went for the classics, always top taste! Never disappointing. The menu is a little different from the one in Tokyo Station, but it is easier to find the restaurant here, also the interior is very nice!

One of the best vegan ramen's I've had in Japan! - Edit
Awesome vegan restaurant with super friendly staff and very tasty ramen. We also had some trouble locating it, so here's another guide in case other reviews get buried down:
Read more- Pay 140 yen for a 'platform' ticket to get into the station
- Go up to platform 8, and when you're at platform 8 take the stairs up again.
- Now you should be in Ecute Ueno (a mall-like area with restaurants)
- There are multiple exits for platform 8, so if the restaurant is not next to platform 8, you should walk straight through a longer hall until you find the other exit for platform 8. The restaurant next to that exit!
Would really recommend!

No visit to Ueno is complete without a visit to T’s Tantan. It’s buried deep within Ueno Station, and you may have trouble finding it, but your efforts will be handsomely rewarded with a vegan paradise.
Yes, everything is vegan, and everything is delicious too. I recommend the golden sesame tantan noodles and the gyudon, but really, you can’t go wrong here.
The food is reasonably priced, the restaurant is cosy and comfortable, and the service is fast and friendly. Go here now!

A bit difficult to locate but worth the hassle - Edit
The first time I visited it was difficult to locate it's in Ueno station in upstairs section of the station. You need to be traveling on the JR line to access the restaurant however you can purchase a platform ticket if you are simply wanting to eat and not travel, 140 yen. This is the best vegan ramen you will eat in Tokyo I recommend the golden sesame ramen set. But I've tried all the ramen bowels and they are all fantastic. Service is fast and efficient. They are very welcoming to foreigners. A must visit when you are in Tokyo, they also have location at Tokyo station and Narita airport.

T's Tan Tan - Edit
You will find some of the BEST VEGAN RAMEN on this planet at T's Tantan!!! I've been to all T's locations and none of them disappoint. Go immediately!
Read moreI found this restaurant during my first business trip to Tokyo, a 100% vegan ramen restaurant with tons of different soup options!?! Let's just say I was a kid in a candy store!!! But with rich, delicious vegan ramen instead.
All the ramen offered here is amazing, you really can't pick a bad one. The broth is complex and the noodles are perfect. Each soup combination is unique and well-flavored. All of the ramens are extremely delicious...when you try their soup you'll be convinced that you've died and have gone to ramen heaven.
During my second business trip I saw that they offered packaged ramen...you know, to help you with your T's Tantan ramen withdrawls once you go back to the States. These little packaged ramens help ease the pain! Hahaha. They are super tasty (though not as good as the restaurant). Sadly, I only have one left. When is the next plane scheduled for Tokyo?!?!??!?

Hearty breakfast option - Edit
As stated in the listing, the menu is limited in the morning, containing just four dishes. One of them is a ramen, which I had. It was a good portion with spring onions, bamboo shots, sprouts and soy meat. I have eaten at T's Tantan's Tokyo station several times and found this to be the best ramen I had there yet. I am still giving it four stars only as the vegan ramen at Kyushu Jangara impresses me even more each time.

We had the golden sesame ramen and black sesame ramen as well as some gyoza. All of it was delicious. Service was quick. There is a location where they store luggage if this is required. They also sell packaged cups of noodles that you just add hot water to, packaged dried soy meat, packaged curry (to be microwaved) and biscuits. I would be enjoy coming back here to eat again.

great vegan ramen and ice cream - Edit
The massaman curry was good, but the golden sesame tantan was even better. The sides of gyoza and fake meat were excellent. I had the "beef" bowl for takeout, and it was really good. It's just fake meat on rice, without vegetables (other than pickled ginger). I like the ice cream desserts. The rice/soy ice cream they use is really light, with a good texture.
Read moreThe only thing I didn't like was the takeout sandwich, because it had a lot of soy mayonnaise, which I just find hard to tolerate. If it had no mayonnaise or a smaller amount I would have liked it.

Amazing Vegan Place! - Edit
Lovely little restaurant, amazing vegan ramen and sides. Quick and efficient service! A people have said - hard to find though. Pay 140 yen (£1) “platform ticket” to get into station - go towards platform 8.. and up escalators - then straight ahead through the shopping centre and it’s on the left at the end. They have these restaurants in a lot of train stations in Tokyo😄

Very nice Tantan-men - Edit
I would say it is the Tantan-men you should have.
Read moreThe Tantan-men was delectable even I'm not a vegan, the taste was awesome.
Even though I know what real Tantan-men is as I used to work at Chinese restaurant, I'd definitely recommend to eat it.
The other meal I had was Ma-bo-dofu, it was fine.
Anyway, it was nice to visit there.
