Cool Theme, Mediocre Food - Edit
The ambiance and decor are great. The staff tries, especially since this place is so busy. The side salad was BS at $7 for a cup of lettuce and a little bit of veggies. The jacket potato was 90% potato and barely a veggie to be had. The major con was that they didn't melt the vegan cheese, which comes standard, so melting over the potato should be standard.

*To be fair, this comes from having experienced far superior food (flavor, variety, color, healthy, sweet, savory) at Epcot and Animal Kingdom in the previous two days.

Pros: Decor, immersive design, Better than most places in the park, Waitstaff
Cons: Same food, just different presentation, Tiny and overpriced salad, They did not melt the cheese on the potato

Pot[ter] Pie - Edit
The Vegan Shepherd's Pie included seasoned Beyond meat, mushrooms, peas, and carrots, topped with mashed potatoes, and served with roasted root vegetables and sautéed broccoli. I liked the pie, but was disappointed by all the single-use plastic.

Hits the spot - Edit
Got the one vegan option - shepherds pie. It’s was good, not great. But it was a good for a midday fuel up. Dairy free butter beer was sweet and yummy. My only mistake was going straight to the HP & Forbidden Journey ride. 🤢

Cons: One option

A magical experience - Edit
The only vegan option was the vegan shepherd's pie, so that's what I ordered - and a non-dairy butterbeer to drink. Both were good. The food was nothing extraordinary but the restaurant experience is definitely worth it if you're a Harry Potter fan!

Good option in a place lacking options - Edit
Due to high volumes of people in this park for this Harry Potter themed restaurant you usually need a reservation. You also need to order on your phone via the Universal app on which you have to link a credit card. This is technically convenient, however, the lack of choice in the ordering and payment method can be fairly inconvenient.
Read moreI ordered the following and they were both satisfying as vegan options:
Vegan Shepherd's Pie(DS, ES, FS, GS, PS, SES, SFS, VG)- $18.99
Seasoned Beyond® meat, mushrooms, peas and carrots, topped with mashed potatoes, served with roasted root vegetables and sauteed broccoli
Butterbeer *MUST SPECIFY: COLD, DAIRY-FREE*
Pros: Food is good
Cons: As expensive and everything else in the park, lack of choice in ordering and payment method
