Awesome little vegan place with friendly owner - Edit
We walked into this restaurant with no idea what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised by the wide arrange of choices! We definitely recommend the eggplant stew and the homemade frittata. We had had so much food that we unfortunately could not have dessert, but all of the cakes looked very tasty as well!

Simple and tasty - Edit
My husband and I are vegans and we were craving for some desserts. We had the cake made with dates and cinnamon and the chocolate cake. Both were delicious and moist! We ordered a Turkish coffee as well and it was the perfect combination we were looking for. The owners were lovely and welcoming. The place is very simple and clean. We ended up getting some food for take away which was very nice and inexpensive. They also sell some vegan products.

Yum. - Edit
Really tasty home-cooking kind of food and if you’re sick of eating falafel and hummus while you’re in Istanbul, come here for some other options. Delicious dessert too, the chocolate ball things with coconut were heavenly.

Amazing food and service - Edit
Best vegan food in Turkey! If you are looking for local vegan food, They had amazing Manti, vegan lahmacun, cigarette Börek, Gözleme, and many more! So good! We went there 4 times in one week we had in Istanbul. We talked with the owners for a long time, they were such nice people and recommended us places to visit on our trip through turkey. They gave us tea for free which was very nice. Totally recommend this place for everyone looking for amazing vegan turkish food you wont find better food anywhere!

Nice selection, overall ok. - Edit
Brought my non-vegan friends but the food didn’t look appetizing enough for them to try. I had a few options and it was okay but definitely not as good as other vegan restaurants I’ve been to. Food was cold in middle and had to ask for it to be reheated. Not worth as a tourist but I’d definitely come back if I was a local as the owner is nice and food is good considering the limited vegan options in Istanbul. Must add the baklava was delicious!

Just like the street food up the road, but without the cruelty! - Edit
It’s been ten years since my last visit to Istanbul, at which time I (pre-vegan) enjoyed to street food / simple restaurants where you can point and choose the yummy looking local dishes. This place let’s you enjoy the local goodness but without the cruelty.

The mücver was fantastic, the mantı and fela(?) Were ok and soy meat stew rather bland. Didn't have room left for the desserts which looked awesome.

Great Options - Edit
This place has many vegan options such as vegan cake filled with vegan chocolate. It also sells vegan products. I’ve tried vegan lahmacun and dumplings and they’re both delicious.

Amazing!!!! omg - Edit
Every thing is vegan! Yesssss. The owner is such a cute nice lady. I got the 4 entree meal so i could try as much as possible. We got monti, dolmeh, a squash casserole, and a lentil ball thing. The only thing is the yogurt on the monti (as well as the yogurt drink) is way too salty for my taste. But everything was absolutely delicious. And then we got a slice of chocolate cake and baklava. The sweet syrup from the baklava went really well with the cake. They also sell some products on the side. Def going back

Tasty food, very nice cakes - Edit
We had lunch here twice.... The concept that you can choose 3 types of food on your place out of maybe 12, is really nice. The heat it with microwave, but that is fine with me.

Cheap and tasty traditional Turkish food - Edit
Lots of (all vegan) options and a great place to try veganized Turkish foods. The staff are friendly and will explain all the foods to you if it is your first time there.
Read moreMy favourites were the eggplant and soy meat, and a salad with lentils and beans. My (meat eating) boyfriend loved the vegan donor duram (wrap) and found it very meat like and similar in terms of flavour,so a good place for vegans/veggos and also meat eaters. I only tried one of the desserts; a chocolate/nutty cake which was freaking amazing and not too heavy either. The shop upstairs sells sounds/nut based milk, pasta and sauce, homemade pickled veggies and jams etc.
I think they do microwave the warm foods but I don't think it really effected the taste or texture of anything I tried, and seems more hygienic than he food being heated all day long and served.
Pros: Cheap!, Tastey good, Quiet and local
Cons: None!

Sweet little Turkish mom and pop cafe - Edit
This lives next door to Istanbul's only vegan shop which also deserves your patronage. The food is authentic, cheap and the owners are lovely. It is indeed pre-prepared but it was very fresh and this is a small business offering a rare service. On the day I ate there the highlight was the owner's delicious cake invention. The vegan lahmacun was also delicious.
