A must visit! - Edit
I heard amazing things about pasteis de Belem so I was eager to try the vegan version. They did not disappoint me! The custard tasted just as I remember when I was not vegan.

Cute place! - Edit
The vegan nata was good! I have no idea what the real deal tastes like, my boyfriend said vegan version is less creamy, but it was good non the less 😄 The place also has cute outdoor sitting and they serve their coffee in edible cups.

After spending 10 days in Portugal without eating Nata, I finally found this place. Had my first one warm out of the oven. So good that I went back in the afternoon for another. These could be deliciously addictive!

Best nata I have tasted. The dough is perfectly crisp and the filling is delicious. The store is very small and offers only natas. The price was reasonable.

Amazing! - Edit
There's three shops accross Lisbon selling vegan nata but this one is probably the coziest one, the interior is small but really beautiful and its also in a popular area of Lisbon so if you go there specifically for the vegan nata you're able to do/see some other nice things around the area afterwards!
Read moreI was really happy to be able to try the pastry Lisbon/Belém is known for. First time I tried it it was almost too sweet but then we took some to go and ate them after an exhausting afternoon, and in that moment they tasted so good I felt as if I was ascending. They are so delicious it's addicting, we went back the same evening to buy six more of them (for just 7€ which I really appreciate). I can't compare them to the non vegan ones but I love the texture and taste and also really liked the eatable coffee cup~
There's only four chairs and two small tables outside on the street and around noon there is no shadow at all so be careful about eating there on really hot days, the sun shines right onto you. Other than that even with the narrow space its lovely to be enjoying a pastéis de nata within a lively Lisbon street
