Holy spanakopita, this place was incredible! You really can't go wrong, these guys know what they're doing. Make sure you get the lemon potatoes and vegan spanakopita 🤤 Can't believe we didn't come sooner. Will be back very soon with friends 😍

Some of the best food Rochester has to offer

You absolutely cannot go wrong by having brunch/lunch here. This is some of the best food you can get in Rochester. Everything is at least vegetarian, but they have almost as many vegan options as well, not that you can tell the difference. It's food that makes your soul sing. Get the lemon potatoes!!! #Veganuary

Pros: Vegetarian with vegan options for almost everythin, Good flavorful soul food

Cons: None! Other than not being 100% vegan

From the moment you walk in the door you will feel very welcomed!

The server with the short curly hair was amazing and so sweet! They were very patient with our questions about the vegan food and telling us what they are! The food was absolutely amazing, the bread was so fluffy and exquisite! The lemons potatoes were to die for…I did burn my mouth but that’s on me I was too excited! The sandwiches were very big (which is a good thing I love left overs) and were very good even 5 hours later! My partner and I will definitely be back!

Pros: Vegan options yummy , Amazing staff , Amazing decor

Cons: Nothing

Amazing food!

Voula’s is a gem. Very friendly staff, and nice little restaurant area. The food was all delicious. Highly recommend the French toast with rosewater syrup: very good vegan French toast. The tofu scramble was delicious and filling, lemon potatoes were nice and flavorful. Vegan spanakopita was a bit in the salty side but still delicious served with an olive oil drizzle.
As we were here for a late breakfast the coffee was exactly what I would hope for.
There is also a wide selection of Greek desserts and a fair number of them are made vegan. Our sampling was delicious.
Bring your appetite!

Pros: Lots of vegan options and most can be made vegan, Nice variety of Greek classics

Amazing.

The home cooked family vibes are strong at Voula’s! Everything is so well done, from the dips and spreads to the cookies and pastries! I absolutely love the vegan spanakopita and if I’m short on time, I grab it to go with one of those delicious frappes. That’ll wake ya up! This place is definitely at the top of my list when I’m in town.

Unexpectedly great.

This small restaurant packs in a lot of vegan options. Staff are very accommodating and service is great. I highly recommend adding the tofu scramble to their flatbread with a drizzle of their jalapeno balsamic vinegar, (not a menu item but should be). One word... amazing. I also tried the vegan spinach spanakopita and vegan baklava - the food is great. I was quite surprised that the portion size of everything I tired seemed pretty large compared to other vegan options I've had at other places.

Pros: Large portions, Good vegan options, Casual and relaxed environment

Cons: Have to clarify vegan when ordering, Small restaurant with limited seating inside, It was a bit tricky to locate the first time going

Best Greek food and desserts

Everything at Voulas is delicious but my favorite menu items are always the flatbread specials and the lemon potatoes. Voulas is 100% vegetarian and most items are or can be made vegan. Definitely try the desserts, especially the baklava :)

Nice little cafe with good food

Small cafe with lots of good vegan options. I had the Gyro with house-made seitan and it was delicious, very good flavor. They also had a nice selection of vegan treats available.

Amazing Greek food

Amazing! I’ve lived in Rochester all my life, and recently moved to San Diego. When I came back to visit I was on the hunt for some Greek food (Vg of course) and found this little place tucked on Monroe ave. So many options! I ordered the V souvlaki and gyro wraps which were HUGE and so delicious! As well as the hummus, V spanakopita, and V baklava. Everything was fresh and so tasty. Must try!

Pros: Almost all the menu is vegan /can be made vegan

A Hidden Gem!

Vegetarian menu with many vegan options including baked goods. The Gyro plate made an excellent light filling lunch. Was a little hard to find via Google drive. Front entrance is on side of building. Please note they only accept cash tips.

Recommend the Vegan Pastries and Vegan French Toast

Love ALL the vegan Pastries, Vegan French Toast, Vegan Brunch Pizza (a special on certain days) and Vegan Spanakopita. The menu changes. Each day there are different specials to try. Recommend coming for a weekend brunch sometime. The food here is very good and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Great Veg Greek!

I can't believe it took four years for me to finally go to Voula's and I wish I had made my way down there sooner. Menu is very clearly labeled with what dishes are vegan, and which can easily be vegan (keyedas vegan-optional). Fast service, not expensive at all for brunch, and delicious food. I had the vegan spanakopita with a side of dolmas with hummus and everything was fantastic! The hummus was super garlicky which is just how I like it :)

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Great service, Parking!

Cons: Limited dinner hours
