Bagel and tofu cream cheese - Edit
The bagels were..bagels. But by far they have my favorite vegan cream cheese I've tried. The tofu scallion cream cheese was perfect.

Best Vegan Cream Cheese I’ve Ever Had - Edit
The bagels were, of course, delicious, but the cream cheese was out of this world. They make 2 kinds - chickpea and tofu. I tried the chickpea garlic herb and it was UNREAL!
Read moreThe owner of the restaurant, Robert, walked up to our table and he seemed really excited that I loved the chickpea cream cheese so much. He said that they were trying different types of vegan cream cheese and were really happy with the way the chickpea had turned out.
It’s nice to know that they put so much effort into making sure vegans have as good of an experience as the rest of their patrons!

Good veggie and vegan options - Edit
3-4 vegan types of tofu cream “cheese” for bagels. Other veggie options as well if you have dairy. Generous helping of cream cheese on bagel with good prices.

Typical bagel place - Edit
I was eager to try the chick-pea based cream cheese this place advertised, but all they had today was tofu-based vegan cream cheese--much as in any other bagel shop in NYC. The bagel I had today was very good--NYC bagels are always good. However, there is little that distinguishes this bagel shop from a HappyCow perspective.
