Almost Everything Can be Veganized! - Edit
I had the Rico dish with lavash on the side. As the title says, most of their dishes can be vaganized (I.e. meat substituted for plant protein, cheese sub’d for vegan cheese, etc.) and their sustainability efforts are noted and appreciated!
Read moreDefinitely the best food I got to eat in NOLA in the (unfortunately) less than a day I had to spend there.

in love - Edit
This is by far one of my favorite vegan restaurants I’ve been too. Everything on the menu is capable of being made vegan, with so many unique and flavorful dishes. Every time I’m in town I always stop in. My fav dish is the vegan rico & vegan ceviche

I must have bought the wrong item - Edit
I ordered the Carmo salad and wasn’t a huge fan of the vinaigrette. Eating the fake ham weirded me out too.

Rico entree is the real deal - Edit
My partner and I had the Rico entree with the vegan meat (Which is Gardein). Our server said it is the most popular dish, and it did not disappoint. At the very least, someone at your table should order it so you and everyone can try it! :).

Delicious! - Edit
Came here with a large group for dinner (reservations via OpenTable), and everyone (meat-eaters alike) found something they were excited about on the menu. Service was pleasant and the space is industrial (roomy) with interesting art and a rustic feel. Wasn’t crowded on a Friday night, which was surprising but nice as we could actually hear our conversation. Large cocktail/wine/beer menu, with vegan options as well. Food and drinks were delicious, would recommend and return!

Vegan Rico! - Edit
It was so good..I lowkey thought it wasn't vegan. My mom loved it too. She ate a plate full and stole half of mine. She is a very picky eater and isn't even vegan. 🤣 Came in for lunch and it was a little busy. Food came out around 15 minutes.

Located right near the WW2 museum, this is a great stop for lunch! Wish it was in the French Quarter, where we’re staying so we could come back more easily.

Very comforting eats - Edit
First night in NOLA after a long day of travel, we picked something close to hotel that would satisfy my omnivore partner. We were pleased with the variety of options from so many world cultures. I had something from Surinam, all I can describe it at is a curried bowl of goodness. We shared black-eyed pea fritters with a cashew sauce. All was delicious. Service was a bit slow but very friendly.

Terrible service, but food was worth it - Edit
After being in NOLA for a full week, this place by far had the worst service of any place I went. But after the third try of trying to get my plate/order correct, the food was AMAZING. Super slow and very unattentive to their patrons, I almost left. I’m so glad I stayed. If you’re mentally prepared for the poor service I would say to stick it out.

Great place with a lot of vegan options to satisfy everyone's taste buds. I got the Pan con chicharron sandwich. Crispy tofu, sweet potatoes, salsa criolla, aji amarillo sauce and a cup of pumpkin soup with almond crema.

Our server wasn’t super personable, which is fine, but it made the dinner less enjoyable. He brought the drinks well after serving our entrees. The food was very good, except for dessert which was not worth the price.

Fun to try so much island food - Edit
This place has an extensive vegan menu of tropical food - a rare treat. I got to try vegan pão de queijo, a Brazilian cheese bread I have been wanting to try for a long time. The other dishes I had were all good. No idea of authenticity but it was all tasty and filling. Only complaint was juice - was a fruit I had never heard of but had heaps of sugar added which made it too sweet for me.

Nice food but...mice!!! - Edit
Nice menu with unusual vegan options BUT there were mice running around. When we questioned it the staff played it down as normal and called them ‘the bunnies’. We saw two whilst there and moved seats, couldn’t fully enjoy the food and felt sick after from thinking about it. There is a build next door but obviously an infestation in this place if they are visible while it was busy - no thanks!!!!

Cons: Mice!!!!, Waitress didn’t write order down - confusion!
