I loved La Moi, it was the first vegan restaurant I went to in Vietnam, and the staff was so friendly. I ordered the summer rolls and a mushroom dish, as well as a pineapple fried rice to go. I thought everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were great! Would definitely come back, it's really close to some of the main tourist attractions and their decor felt really homely and comfortable.

There are a ton of awesome vegan options in the area, but La Moi fell short. The flavors just weren’t there. We had pineapple fried rice, which was beautiful, but bland. Our tofu appetizer was pretty plain. Sorry, La Moi, but with the variety out there, I just can’t recommend this place.

Le moi has a large selection of both Vietnamese and Asian dishes. If you’re with company, I’d recommend getting one of the bigger menus to share. That way you’ll get a taste of everything and it won’t be that hard to choose from the menu (trust me, it is!! Everything looks too good!).

We had the ribs which to be honest really were amazing and the mushroom hot pot which was ok I think the blue noodles didn't help (blue is not a food colour!) The prices don't include VAT at 10% which is added to your bill. Whilst it was nice it wasn't amazing for the price. The staff are great friendly and really helpful. It was very quiet when we went so not much of an atmosphere. Good to try but didn't have me yearning to return.

Really recommend this place for everyone, no matter if vegan, vegetarian, carnivore or wathever. Every dish we had was simply amazing! Especially the vegan rips! Don't know which base their meat substitute was made from but it was simply great!

Das Restaurant hat sicher auch bessere Gerichte, als wir hatten. Nach meiner Erfahrung sind nicht mehr als 3 Sterne zu vergeben. Wir hatten Fried Noodles (war leider wirklich nicht gut) und die vegan ribs, die waren sehr gut, nur leider war die Portion sehr klein.

The staff here were incredibly knowledgable about the food, ingredients and health benefits. Beautiful setting and chatty staff who helped us choose the most authentic meal. I had the sour mushroom soup and mushroom spring rolls (very filling). 10/10 recommend if you are keen on tasting new flavours. My only regret is not learning the waitresses name as she was so inquisitive about where we were from and shared her own experiences.

Specifically sought out vegan places in Ho Chi Minh and this place was absolutely divine. Lovely aesthetic, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The menu is extensive and very affordable, the food came out very fast.

We got the battered shitake mushrooms as an appetiser, they were cooked perfectly, the batter lovely and crunchy, the sauce complimented it well. We also got the vegan ribs which were melt in your mouth delicious, the best vegan meat I've ever had. I got the miso mushroom udon noodle soup, everything tasted fresh and cooked just right. For dessert we got the banana ice cream, which was not creamy like you would expect, but more like a layered chunky slice. The coconut felt a little too frozen, but once it melted a bit it was great, a wonderful way to end the meal.

The facility not worth it for a central district .... - Edit
We found this place on TripAdvisor and were excited to try it out as vegetarians. The food was great, and the service was good until we went to use the bathroom. The men's bathroom was upstairs, and the women's was downstairs, but it was far from a pleasant experience. The stinky smell hit us as soon as we entered, and the urinal bowl and sink were disgustingly dirty. To top it off, the toilet paper holder was missing its lid. The restaurant's high prices and central location in Sai Gon made this experience even more unacceptable. We had to leave and go back to our hotel to use the bathroom.

Great food, sweets and space but sadly it's not fully vegan!!! They use COW milk for coffees... and named themself Plant-based restaurant... seriously?! Better double check what you're getting as hard to say where the dairy would be added as well. Such a disappointment. Would love to Give 5* but for such a blunder...

We want to clarify that "cà phê sữa," a traditional drink, cannot be altered as it contains condensed milk. We do have a local version that is not vegan and some local-customers prefer it with condensed milk. However, we do offer an organic soy milk substitute for those who cannot consume cow-dairy.
For smoothies, we do not use condensed milk in any of our recipes.
