Diverse menu with lots of options. Friendly service. We got the tofu and square spring rolls. Spring rolls were tasty and lots of fillings including mushrooms! Tofu was okay, but probably wouldn’t order again and would try other items.

Lovely Relaxed Atmosphere - Edit
We both loved our dinner at La Moi plant based Restaurant! Super friendly service and very attentive staff. We ordered the rainbow rolls (there are more served than in my pic, we just couldn’t wait and ate a couple), vermicelli salad, Lamoi Fried Rice with Chikn salad and the plant based ribs. Everything was super tasty and the stand out was the ribs which were really delicious! Thanks Lamoi.

Lovely food - I would absolutely recommend! The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options for me and a lot of the menu was already gluten free. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful. I only wish that they existed in my country so I could try more of the menu!

Ambience 5*. Friendliness of staff 5*. Service 3* as the dishes came spread over about 10 minutes. Presentation of food 5*. Actual food 3*, average at best (2* if taking account of price). Hiding the 10% tax and 5% service charge in tiny font at the bottom of the menu 0* (it’s not optional - be honest and include it). Clearing the table while you’re still eating 0* (though they are trying to be attentive so it wasn’t too annoying).

So far I’ve been twice and had spring rolls, Pad Thai and sour soup. The spring rolls were very good, the Pad Thai was great, and only the sour soup was so-so (too sweet and not sour at all for me).

Still unclear whether everything is vegan or not. Staff told us it is all vegan, but here it is told vegetarian. Fried noodles were not what we expected. Portions not very big, but tasty and quickly prepared.

The restaurant is labelled plant- based. There was nowhere a word of vegan. In a previous review I read that they use cowmilk, therefore I refrained from ordering a coffee. I ordered Dragonfruit/Banana/Tofu smoothie, and I liked it. For the soup I ordered a portion of tofu extra. The soup was quite spicy. The staff doesn't really pay attention if you want something, even though they are not that busy.

The noodle bowl was delicious. I can’t deny it. And I won’t. I asked the staff if it’s true they use condensed milk and at first they said No No No but then they asked a higher up and he said not in the kitchen but in the coffee because in order to make true Vietnamese coffee you have to use cow milk. I foo d that to be very sad and disappointing. Obviously they don’t get the point. I should have known since they use the term Plant-Based. But the food was good. It was expensive though compared to most other spots in town. A little uppitty, but some people are into that kind of d of thing.
