It was a busy lunchtime full of Vietnamese people which I would take as a good sign. Not huge portions but nicely presented.

I had the Pineapple and celery juice from a reccomendation in a review on here it was refreshing as they said. I eouldnt normally order celery juice so it was nice to get out of my comfort zone

Fabulous Plant-based Restaurant - Edit
I had an excellent light royal salad for lunch - fresh veggies, marinated tofu strips and crunchy topping with some crispy crackers. The celery pineapple drink was so refreshing. The location is great- just down the street from the Post Office. Staff is friendly and offers helpful suggestions.

Two different experiences - Edit
We visited this restraint a second time as we enjoyed the food and service so much the first time.
Read moreFirst visit was in 29 December and we found the restaurant via this app. It did not disappoint. I would have given more than 5 stars as a review for that visit if I could. The menu was extensive and when it arrived the food was exceptional. What really made the visit though was the staff. Everything was organised and we were helped with menu selection, provided with warm cloths on arrival and just had the most pleasant service.
We returned in 1 January and our experience was quite different. The food was still good but the service was very poor. The staff were just not bothered they were more interested in chatting very loudly amongst themselves and sitting on their phones. We struggled to receive our drinks order and our starters arrived almost immediately after ordering. This wasn’t a huge surprise as we had ordered ‘cold’ starters that could have been prepared in advance. What was surprising was that our main course of pad Thai arrived almost immediately after our starters which led us to believe it may have been reheated. It certainly wasn’t to the standard of the previous visit.
No one asked if everything was ok with our meal, we had to chase for extra drinks and had to ask twice for the bill then eventually go up to the till to interrupt the staff chatting in order to pay.
The most shocking incident was after using the bathroom, I went to wash my hands to find a member of staff washing something in the sink. She apologised but made no attempt to vacate the sink. I went to ask another member of staff if I could use the upstairs sink but was told no as they had switched the lights off! I had to stand firm and insist I needed to wash my hands after using the toilet. After some exchange between the staff members I was eventually permitted to use the sink downstairs.
Our second visit was a real let down and I wish we had not returned. #Veganuary

Regarding the food, we have spoken with the kitchen team and would like to address two points:
- The Rainbow rolls are prepared in advance and stored in the fridge, but only for daily use.
- The Pad-Thai is freshly made for every order and typically served in under 10 minutes, as it is one of our signature dishes. However, it may take longer if the restaurant is busy.

Highly recommend this restaurant! We got the buffet and tried 14 dishes plus one ice tea. Paid 540k dong (including 8% tax) all up. Food was very good and price was more than reasonable. The baby pumpkin with mushrooms was incredible. Rainbow rolls were also fantastic!

Due to the high prices we only shared one meal here, but it was delicious. We ordered the crispy noodle stir fry and a coconut which totalled to 185,000 VND, which was much more expensive than nearby restaurants with equally delicious food.

This place definitely deserves all of the positive reviews - we had a delicious dinner here, and the staff were very welcoming. Having a fully vegan menu was fantastic as that can be hard to find in Vietnam.

For mains my partner ordered a mushroom dish, which sounded great but when it arrived it was pretty tiny! We were both a bit surprised that it was listed as a main dish. My braised tofu dish was nice, but was supposed to be served with noodles, so I was surprised not to get any and instead to get a couple of bits of bread on the side (which I didn’t really want). I checked with the waiter when no noodles arrived, but he said no, the menu says bread… I checked afterwards and it did actually say served with NOODLES 🥲😬 minor issue but a little annoying to order something and get the wrong thing, especially after double checking.
Apart from that though - the flavours were lovely, both in the tofu and the tiny mushroom dish 👌 worth a visit

Oh what a happy find - Edit
I happened to stumble on La Moi while walking around the bustling Ho Chi Minh City during a short stopover on the way home from Japan. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to experience this restaurant. The food is all plant based so I had no worries that I will eat anything that goes against my values. I asked for the buffet and was unable to decide which plates to have so the staff prepared several small plates for me to savour as many flavours as possible during my short stay in Vietnam. Everything was delicious but best of all was the gracious service. I look forward to coming back here when I plan a longer stay in Vietnam. Thank you for making my few hours in Vietnam so memorable.

Please be kind enough to open up with us, this is a tax principle by Vietnamese tax law that we always comply with, and you will find is normal in any official business point here (8% to be exact, depending on the government).
Please notice, that we no longer have the 5% service charge, it's not in your final bill, and that's why we do have to charge for your wet tissue if you using it. The dry napkin is free, please ask.
We understand from you that our pricing is different than a few other restaurants, but please notice that our product uses organic, fresh ingredients that are prepared daily on-site from Vinamit Organic.

We went here for lunch in between visits to the War Museum, Post Office and Book Street so it's really conveniently located. The food was really tasty, we ordered square spring rolls and fried noodles. Delicious and filling, and the staff helped us with how best to eat the fried noodles as we'd not had it before! The restaurant has lots of tables so we were able to relax and chill out. It's a bit more expensive than other places but the food is really good and I would go back if we were staying longer in the city.

Clean spot, nice food, good service but… - Edit
Been meaning to try this place. It’s a very clean restaurant which is important and the food is quite good (I had the miến trộn just to try something standard that’s hard to get wrong). While all that was positive, there were a couple of young kids in there tearing the place up- yelling, walking over the seating etc. - apparently without parents. I assume these are the children of the owner? But it made the experience kind of horrible.
