Affordable Lunch by Bryant Park - Edit
The best plant-based spot near Bryant Park to grab a nutritious meal while enjoying the aesthetics of the city.
Read moreLe Botaniste has a few locations in town and this one is one of their larger spots. Lots of open seating for you to choose after you order your meal at the counter.
They have a variety of plant-based options including seasonal menu items. I went with their Summer Noodle Salad which were wheat noodles over a bed of greens with avocado, peas, mushrooms, and other veggies topped with a ginger peanut sauce. Absolute hit if you're looking for a cold noodle dish for the summertime.
The entire restaurant felt clean and well kept, making it a very comfortable experience.

Everything feels fresh and healthy. Also, the restaurant's decore is really pretty. Would absolutely recommend if you want something quick but still want to get your veggies!

This is one of several locations around town. I generally go to the upper west side location, but this location was near my hotel. I came in with a coworker and had a really good meal. My coworker loved it.

Read moreI had a DIY Bowl with Sweet Potato, Peanut Curry, Tofu, extra Veggie Balls, Sour Cream, Pea Hummus, Coconut Cevice, Herbs, Superfood Mix and Aioli and even if it looked small it was super filling and delicious! I also had a Pecan Chocolate Cookie for dessert which was also super tasty. Everthing was 27$
Interieur is super pretty as well, would definetly recommend if you are looking for something healthy, filling and tasty

I had the Mediterranean salad bowl and it was delish! Also had the seeded avocado on the side and was lovely! The menu was great! I was torn between the bowl, chilli and bolognese! All the staff were lovely and it’s situated right across the street from Bryant Park so I got it to go and sat in the park!

The service was very accommodating and informative. We were greeted upon entry and given the explanation about how the menu works. We ordered the Tibetan Mama and the Spicy Chili Sin Carne with a side of Veggie Balls (Falafel adjacent) with the lemon hummus and the tzatziki. Both dishes were hearty and flavorful.

I had the peanut butter curry bowl and it was delicious. I swapped the kimchi with sauerkraut, and everything was so good. I wish I was staying longer so I could try more of the menu. The place was spotless and well spaced out. The staff were very helpful and I was able to try the sauce before buying. Opposite Bryant park.

This place has a great vibe, and they offer samples of the different stews they have available. I wound up settling on a Tibetan curry that was absolutely excellent. They also have a small but fantastic offering of wines. Great for a quick bite!

A really good addition to the area and this location is the most enjoyable feeling one. The staff and service is so friendly, helpful, efficient, especially at lunchtime. The food is tasty and healthful, as with all Le Botaniste options. Great lunch combo. There’s a nice quiet back seating area.
