Best vegan French toast ever!!! - Edit
We love this place and visit it ever time we're in Hamburg! Delicious vegan pancakes, and French toast very Canadian style! Lots of vegan options! I wish they had more vegan cake options and that the coffee cups were larger😄

Went here for breakfast/brunch and got the fluffiest pancakes ever! Great taste, fresh fruit and also good coffee. Service was great and it was affordable. I was full for a looong time afterwards 👌🏼

OMG, the pancakes! The milkshakes! The grilled cheese! So so so good. I'm a sucker for American breakfast foods and I think (never been to America) Mamalicious does it right. Gets VERY crowded though. Prepare to wait for a table on the weekends if you're not there before opening.

Prepare to wait a long time either to be seated (not their fault), order, receive your food, or pay (those are all their fault though). IMO still worth it for the amazing food but still annoying.

Read moreNow, normally, because they still offer animal products I would only give 4/5 stars, but in this case, because they really convinced me taste-wise I'm gonna make an exception.
The scrambled tofu was on point, the pancakes were fluffy and delicious and the coffee was also pretty good. So as far as I'm concerned, that's all you really need for a successful breakfast.

Die Speisekarte lässt mich jedes Mal wieder überlegen die Entscheidung fällt niemals schwer aber sie ist immer richtig. Tolle Auswahl an süß/herzhaft und warmen/kalten Speisen/Getränken... pancakes nicht nachmachbar !! Und jetzt auch den beyond beef burger, der wirklich Wahnsinn ist! Für 14€ aber wirklich nur eine Ausnahme !

Read moreThere were plenty of options and I went for scrambled tofu and added, mushroom, spinach and bacon.(these were all chopped and added during the scramble? It came with toast homemade comfort fries and some fruit. It was nice and stodgy and the potatoes were really well seasoned. It was a big breakfast for 8 euros and great value.
The cafe had a really nice vibe, relaxed and spacious. I left them some happy cow stickers.

Amazing!! It was so delish (and I was so hungry) I forgot to take pictures. Splendid choice of breakfast dishes, very friendly staff. My breakfast was served very quickly. Maybe on weekends longer waits which is nothing but reasonable, as the restaurant is small. Everybody does their very best here!

Good food but the worst service i ever experianced. The waitress blamed us when she delivered the food to the wrong tables. It took approx 45 min the get the food. Not worth it!

I love the tofu scramble and pancakes. It is for those days when you crave for soul food. You will never leave hungry. Only con: there could be more vegan cake on a regular basis. They often offer mouthwatering fancy cakes on social media. But whenever I get there only lemon cake is left for dessert. That’s bad luck.

The place looks super inviting, my boyfriend and me loved it. You really get the feeling of being in a Canadian or American diner. The food is classic fast food but SO good! We tried the pancakes after having them very warmly recommended by one if the waiters. The staff is wonderful btw. Also we had coffee, hot chocolate and a yogurt shake together with the scrambled eggs. As you might tell, we were stuffed afterwards. But totally worth it.

My friend had a vegan bagel which was very tasty and we shared a banana bread, which was very fluffy.
The cake display looked amazing but I became very sad when They told me that not even one was vegan :( but I am sure that they could improve this point :)
Staff was very nice and helpful, and even if the place was very crowded they served us really quickly. Unfortunately you cannot pay with Credit card and this would be very useful!
I definitely recommend this place to anybody who would like to experience a vegan american style breakfast/brunch!!

In my last visit to Hamburg, my boyfriend and I decided to drop by to have brunch before our flights in the late afternoon. It was sunday, which seems to be a busy day. We arrived there and had to wait 30 mins for a table and more 40 mins to order. After 1h we had ordered, no sign of our dishes and we were afraid to lose our flights. The staff seemed to ignore us and when we asked about our dishes, they said we were next, when we clearly weren't, since we waited for 30 more minutes. At this point we decided to leave and never come back. We almost lost our flight and left hungry. We were seriously disappointed and sorry we chose this as our last stop, since it ruined our day.

My husband and I ate here four times during our visit to Hamburg. The food was good, especially the breakfast dishes. My favorites were the pancakes (very fluffy!) and the scrambled tofu (you get to choose ingredients for the scramble!). The currywurst was also very good, if you go for lunch. It was always easy to get a table, but we had to wait a long time for the food when the place was busier. I would go there again the next time I'm in Hamburg!

I went here with my family for brunch and the food was good, we paid and our server cut us €10 short. When we pointed this out she handed us back the money (with attitude) and as we sat she glared at us. We asked her a question on how to get to the train station. She gave a rude response and told us to learn how to tip. Very disappointing, I'm sure the only reason she gave us so much attitude is that she could tell we were not from Hamburg. We will never be returning. Servers do not get to short you on change to choose their own tip- especially €10.

We had our lunch at Mamalicious. My partner chose a burger, he was satisfied with the fake-meat and the bread, the price was a little too expensive for the amount of food he got. I chose a salary, and unfortunately it was full of sand and after I ate the most of the dish I found a dead insect in the salad. Beside of this faux pas the salad was not tasty: no other vegetables just green salads with dressing for 7 Euros; too expensive. Although we told our complaints to the service guy we had to pay the full price. Would not recommend this diner.
