Great food with a great mission - Edit
We were so excited to eat at Strecha tonight. The restaurant is large and bright. When we first entered we thought it was small, but the restaurant is in the shape of an L and has about three separate seating areas on the long arm. We sat in the very end room which had a couch with a low table and a chess set and a monopoly game. Our servers were very nice and spoke to us in English.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings on red cabbage and the fried cheese with fries. It was great to get to try some traditional Czech dishes veganized. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - we sadly weren't able to finish our meals because we ran out of room.
We were happy to purchase a pending meal for someone in need.

Yummy! - Edit
I have been there 2 times during my trip to Prague. The first time I had the dumplings, the second time the kebab plate. Both was very delicious, they have friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back at my next trip to Prague. I love their mission😄

Migliore ristorante dove assaggiare piatti tipici in versione vegana - Edit
In questo locale è possibile gustare la cucina tipica, ma in chiave vegana. I "ravioli" (vedi foto) erano veramente buonissimi, non ho idea di quale sia il sapore nella versione originale, ma questi erano veramente top! Il locale è molto informale. Prezzi accessibili.

Great pleace to try Czech food - Edit
We are tourists and for us, vegetarians it was an wonderful option to try local food - in Czech this is pretty hard because of cousine based mostly on meat. Anyway, we missed some veggies in our options, but I know that is this kind of a kitchen.

Great service, Food was OK - Edit
Like many, I was excited to try Strecha based on their ethos, which I think is a great concept. The ambiance is a big dining hall with lots of space (no AC in the heat unfortunately) and service is actually quicker and more efficient than any other place I’ve tried in Prague. I wish I could say the same for the food.
Read moreI had the goulash and fried cheese plates on the servers suggestion of most ordered/Czechia items and they were just OK. Reliant on the carbs to be filling, but lack of flavor or anything that makes me want to try Czech food again. I’m glad I got to try a version of National dishes as a traveler, but convinced there has to be better options. Perhaps it was just the two dishes I ordered.

Best vegan restaurant in Prague - Edit
As per title, everything I tried in this restaurant was delicious. I've tried the kebab wrap, the poutine with jackfruit and the fried cheese with fries and everything was very tasty, even though I don't know how to feel about the cheese and it's nothing to do with the restaurant, but like... What's the point of it, Czech people? It feels like an item from the kids' menu, not like a Czech typical plate

Good project, nice place, tasty food - Edit
This is a great project, worthy of support. The food is simple but tasty and filling. We had the vegan schnitzel with potato salad and the vegan kebab. The chocolate raspberry cake for dessert was a dream. The place is very casual and the staff friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a fine dining experience you are definitely at the wrong place but otherwise it is worth a visit and offers great value for money. We were happy to purchase two pending meals for people in need.

Move back please 😅🥰 - Edit
My first and very overdue visit
Read moresince their relocation. Used to be neighbours and my ultimate go-to.
Quality is still the same, usual menu is on point, daily menu hit or miss.
Stuffed dumplings and other Czech classics can’t be recomended more.
Staff is lovely, service usually quick.
