Love TJ’s - Edit
I have an emotional bond to this TJs; it got me through a dark year of college living in the residence hall above it. However, I will be real— the produce is always in pretty poor condition and I wish they used their retail space to sell real food instead of their 18 million freezer meals. Lines are insane — they wrap around the store, all the way to the entrance if you go at 4-7 pm. There are 2 or 3 really hot guys that work there though.

Decent prices - Edit
Trader Joe's offers a lot of produce and healthier groceries at a decent price. The Upper Westside branch of Trader Joe's is bigger, but this branch is by no means small. The nearby Whole Foods has a wider selection, though the prices here tend to be better.

I love visiting here, it's cheaper than wholefoods and has some great pre-made vegan wraps and salads, love the eggplant wrap! :)

This store isn't as big as wholefoods BUT it gives you another option with a great selection of all the health stuff we all look for (and I have been told by Americans at much cheaper prices). We picked up some Clif bars on special for 99c whereas in other stores they were $2.50/$3 !!!!
