went when they had a free slice deal and it was okay - Edit
i had the vegan Margherita pizza and it was suitable. i don’t think i’d go if there wasn’t a deal going on just because there’s better all vegan places around the city. also cheaper places. a slice of vegan pizza here is >$6 but at artistic pizza on west 4th it’s like $4

Pizza is okay, nothing special, but if you're hungry and need something quick, I recommend it. Because the space is so small, I had to go over people's heads to get seasonings. I would strongly advise taking food to go.

Really good pizza joint - Edit
This is a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint (no inside seating or restroom, just some benches outside) that offers Roman-style square pizza, with a special type of crust. They have two vegan options: a plain cheese slice, and one with mushrooms. Today, I had a plain vegan cheese slice--it was surprisingly tasty.

There are only 2 veg pizzas, one of which is just a plain margherita. I got the mushroom one and it was okay but not great. Just kinda gross and greasy, nothing special. And I wasn’t full afterwards either.
