This is a great vegan cafe with a selection of different types of food. We had the vegan chicken burger, the Ben Ben noodles, and the kimchi fried rice. It was all amazing but I think the kimchi rice would work better as a side or with some kind of protein like tofu. The Ben Ben noodles and burger were OUTSTANDING!

The vibe and the staff were kind, relaxed and welcoming. I wasn’t entirely sure about the kitchen style. It says “international,” but the menu felt a bit too mixed. Maybe fusion? There were plenty of Asian-inspired dishes, some with a European twist. A few dishes didn’t really work for me, as I’ve had better Asian vegan food elsewhere, but that didn’t spoil the evening at all.

The noodles were great and they were very accommodating of my intolerances, for those more familiar with fake meat some of the items like the 'ribs' are a bit more homemade that you might expect but the flavour is good. Just something to note if you're with a non-vegan expecting that more 'fake meat texture'.

Amazing spot where had lunch. The food was delicious. The menu had a mix of noodles, ramen, rice bowls, and burgers. I ordered the Ben Ben noodles which were perfectly saucy and creamy. My partner enjoyed the Bali salad, and we shared the eggplant dip which was very tasty too. Good portion sizes, and food was very filling. Great atmosphere. 100% recommend.

I went to eat lunch there and got the last table, so it might be useful to book a table just in case. I saw multiple people not get a table. I wasn't very hungry so I only tried mushroom bitterballen, which were nice. Great texture. But need to come back to form a proper opinion :)

I have to be honest, I didn’t expect anything shocking, and instead it was DELICIOUS! I had the ben ben noodles and my partner had the miso ramen, and both were SO tasty! The starters were unfortunately a bit too expensive for us at the moment but they looked really amazing too. Honestly highly suggested (make sure you book, we got *very* lucky to find a table and it was a Monday night)

Another update: Still great! It's been a long time since I had the ribs (starter) and they were very good.
We love Soil. The Ben Ben Noodles remain a firm favourite, and we also enjoyed the cod croquettes, smoky aubergine dip and spicy seitan sándwich. Sharing a bunch of starters is usually a winner.
Update! Now in January we've been back to try new dishes. The house-pickled Shii-take were good and my partner liked the kebab starter and (again) the spicy seitan sandwich. I tried the Tonkotsu ramen and it was excellent.
Good wine and service again!
